Very good, I'm impressed.
It's smaller than I thought, it's light and portable. The internal battery was partially charged when I received it, so I was able to test it right away. Very quick scan and recognition of the microchip, about 1 sec. It beeps when it reads the code, if it doesn't find any chip then it shuts down after approx 30 sec. One downside is the display, a bit too small and not backlit. Excellent value for price, excellent service from Amazon, as always.

A must for all stay cats
I have a number of cats that are either left on my doorstep in boxes or just turn up knowing that my home is a safe haven. In purchasing this product I have been able to scan for chips and though only one was returned to its owner it did what was expected of it. It is easy to use and in a design that has a good grip. It is a must for anyone who loves animals.
