Excellent!
I have been using Miracle-Gro Plant Food Spikes for the past two years, and my fruit trees are thriving and doing excellent. The difference in growth and overall health has been very noticeable. The leaves are greener, the trees look stronger, and the fruit production has improved. What I really like is how easy these spikes are to use. You simply dig a small hole around the tree and place the spike in the ground—no mixing, no measuring, and no mess. It saves time and ensures the nutrients go directly to the roots where they are needed most. This product makes feeding fruit and citrus trees simple and effective. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy way to keep their trees healthy and productive.

Convenient and Effective Feeding for My Citrus Trees
I’ve been using the Miracle-Gro Fruit & Citrus Plant Food Spikes for several seasons now, and they continue to be one of the easiest and most effective ways to fertilize my citrus trees. I have a few dwarf citrus varieties—lemon, lime, and a young satsuma—and these spikes have made a noticeable difference in growth, foliage health, and fruit production. What I really love about this product is the convenience. Instead of mixing liquid fertilizers or trying to spread granular feed evenly, you just push these spikes into the soil near the root zone (according to the package instructions), and you're done. The nutrients are slowly released over time, so the trees get consistent feeding without risk of over-fertilizing. I apply them about once in early spring and again mid-summer, and that seems to be enough for my potted and in-ground trees. Within a few weeks of using the spikes, I typically see deeper green leaves and more vigorous new growth. One of my potted Meyer lemons that had been looking pale really perked up after I added the spikes—leaves darkened and the tree produced a healthy flush of blooms. I also appreciate that Miracle-Gro tailored this formula specifically for fruit and citrus, as not all plant food is created equal. This gives me some peace of mind that I'm giving my trees what they need without guessing. Highly recommend for both new and experienced gardeners who want a low-maintenance, effective way to support healthy citrus and fruiting plants!

Spikes were not as well made as other brands.
1st time I have used the Miracle Grow branded tree spikes as I mostly use another brand, but these were on sale so I got a couple boxes. some of the spikes had cracks and broke while planting them even with the ground being softened. not all of them were like that, but I had to use a shovel to get the fertilizer in the ground when they broke. Past brands I never had that problem. I se a rubber mallet to drive them down into the soil and never had a problem. May have been a bad box or handled rough. I cannot say how good the results will be, but I am confident they will work great Miracle Grow makes great fertilizer that works very well. If I notice a real difference I will update this at a later time. 4 star was because the spikes having cracks in them they need to package them better to keep this from happening.

Work great
The product listing does not tell you but the Miracle-Gro spikes are 15-5-10 I live in northern Nevada and have a couple Austrian pines that are 10’ plus. They were dying, no matter how much water I gave them they were losing their Needles, the branches were drying out and breaking. I used these fertilizer spikes and they came back to life turned a brighter green, and actuality had a noticeable amount of growth. Spikes are not very big and pound into the soil easily.

The easy and safer way to fertilize large root zones.
When I'm lazy I use these spikes. They are also safer than dumping granular fertilizer which can burn plant roots if you don't water it in well enough---I virtually never use granular anymore after killing two fruit trees. It is spikes or liquid that I can mix into water and then pour onto the root zone. (I usually error on the side of "too dilute" because of my plant PTSD.) These spikes just dissolve slowly with watering. I like everything MIracle-Gro, but I use a lot of other products, too---for my touchy plants.

Happy customer
I use these by my trees. Last year I put them around my evergreens and they grew better than they have in many years. Highly recommend. This year trying them at my lilac tree.

Worth a try
I picked up 3 fruit tree saplings around 3' tall that someone had put out by the curb and planted them way in the back of the property. The apple had looked most promising but has been the slowest grower with very few leaves over the past 3 years. But I never put these in as they should have been and the soil is rocky. The other two are peach trees and the main part of both died and are surviving with suckers off the roots. One is near useless and off the edge and might not survive. The other with two suckers has one that is straight up and tied to a pole and doing well this year. Even though it's a little late for the spikes, it's better than never. They don't get full sun and I didn't want to have to water them as much anyway with the rocky soil. I had to put up wire around these saplings to keep the deer from chewing on them, which is what happened to the apple tree. The wire is only 4' and the peach is already past the top. Insects are another issue, I would have liked these spikes to help with. I have some dry spread for the insects, but isn't meant for young trees. 3 spikes were broken but I used a small shovel anyway as the spikes would have broken in the rocky soil. Being what they are and looking back, I should have done my homework as I might have had much larger and healthier trees by now.

Great little kit for feeding my trees and plants. Food gets down to the roots rather than sitting in the soil. Will re: review after I see the/ any results but at this stage everything is looking good.
