DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IF TRYING TO ATTACH A MODERN LENSE !!
Would give no stars if I could. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY IF BUYING TO ATTACH A NIKON LENSE TO A CANON CAMERA IT WONT WORK!!! WASTED £22 AND TOO LATE FOR A REFUND DUE TO SELF ISOLATING AND CAMERA SHOP NOT BEING OPEN! Will only work if want to attach an older manual lense not a modern lense, pretty unhappy right now as always do my homework. Even buying a more expensive adaptet won't work unless older style lense! What a waste of money. You won't be able to see anything because there is a piece that needs to open so it holds back a part to allow you to see so you can focus and isnt possible !

Quality, great value product to bring life back to your old M42 lenses
Very sturdily built with clear lens alignment indicator making mounting to canon chassis a doddle. Feels exceptionally stable when mountedM42 thread very well engineered making lens attachment very smooth.Great value so I ordered another 2 and the requisite number of canon back lens caps to avoid losing time screwing and unscrewing lenses (which was always the pain with M42 mounted SLRs)The cloth bag supplied doubled up as a lens pouch once the lens was attached to the converterA fantastic and ethical product

Nikon fit macro lens to EOS
Bought this to enable my Nikon-fit lenses to be connected to my Canon and it works well on the macro lens. For an outlay of just £25 I have saved at least £350. It is of course all manual controls which is ok for macro, especially in live view (which allows magnification) although aperture setting is a bit hit and miss. But still good results. When I first tried the adapter for the first time I had difficulties removing it off the lens until I discovered a small metal spring which has to be depressed to enable release. I must say that this arrangement appears fragile and therefore I would not use the adapter often on other lenses, i.e. it will reside permanently on the macro lens. Thus the 4 stars. I may buy this adapter for my other Nikon lenses although there are other options. I would recommend this adapter if you can live with it's limitations.

Careful planning, gentle patience, cool head.
Some concerns once I received this to make sure it went on correctly. But it is simple and straightforward.1. Put the item on shiny metal to shiny metal of lens.2. Attach lens to camera.3. Remove lens as normal.4. Depress small clip before twisting it off from lens.5. Take your time and don’t panic!

Top quality, solid construction.
I was given some vintage lenses, with M42 thread mount. I am a keen beginner at photography and have a Canon EOS DSLR. I bought this item from GOBE, as it looked the best construction of those on offer, and, TBH, I liked their philosophy of giving back to the planet.I am not disappointed. The item has been well used since I bought it, is of very good quality and fits perfectly. I would definitely by GOBE products again.

Well made, fits the job
Well engineered adaptor and a good fit on my vintage Helios lens. Ethically packaged in a drawstring cotton bag which is a bonus as I now have a bag for my lens too! And you get a code from Gobe to sponsor the planting of 5 trees. What's not to love :)

A very good adapter for the price
Having sent back one adapter that was not fit for the purpose the Gobe unit was excellent. With no instructions the adapter comfortably fits to the lens and then on to the camera as if it was a Canon accessory. I am fitting a shift and tilt lens (PC - Nikkor 28mm f2.8) that is about 45 years old onto an old Canon EOS 40D. Everything is manual of course and the lens has a stop down ring that allows all the focusing to be done and then the shot to be taken stopped down. I also believe that 5 trees have been planted . . . . .

Great product.
This is a great product, well made, and it appears the company is ethical, which makes it even better.I bought two, one for each of my cameras and I have no complaints.
