30 sec install works perfectly if you have sync 3.0
Installed in 30 seconds, in my 2016 mustang gt performance package. I confirmed I had sync 3.0 then ordered it . Arrived the next day on a Sunday… installed , and bam . Apple car play works .

Doesn't Work at all
Does NOT work on a 2016 Ford Mustang GT I tried everything but my car does not recognize it. NO Idea why they said it would work on my car, It doesn't

Fits, but tight and short cables
This piece is challenging to install. My 2018 Ford Explorer Limited has this part located in the tray below the radio. The one cable is barely long enough to pull it out. When installing plug in the shortest cable first then the other 2 longer cables. It is the only way to get the short cable installed. Fits as tight as OJ’s glove…

Worked great to add CArPlay to 2016 Mustang GT Premium.
Worked great to add Apple CarPlay to 2016 Mustang GT Premium. First I needed to install updates to the car's Ford Sync 3. I had V 1.0 Build 15139 installed... first I upgraded to Version 2.2 Build 17011 and THEN and ONLY THEN can you install SYNC3 Build 20204 listed on Ford's website as 3.0.20204 based on VIN #. You MUST use a 64GB USSB stick (I tried a 16 and 32 stick and they both failed). You can download the 2.2.17011 Sync version on CyanLabs.net...a gentleman named SandMan has the details on how to do it. You CANNOT go straight from V1.0 to V 3.0 or you WILL NOT get CarPlay to work! You MUST upgrade to 2.2 as an intermediate step.

Wont work unless your sync is updated to sync 3.3 So i manually updated it thru cyanlabs on google and you will need a usb drive to program it to the new usb device you’re purchasing it was very easy watch a youtube video on how and youll have apple carplay
