Need it because we have dog snatchers in the area and the police never catch them.Need to protect myself and my dogs.Will it work?

I came here to read the reviews of this product and sass the highly ignorant response you received from someone who seemed to be suggesting you are expecting too much for the local police to stop or catch criminals who take dogs. The person Cleary has no understanding of how a dog is part of a family or is truly loved and cared for. It is devastating. Far more so than having a shop broken into or a crime that the person obviously thinks is more worthy. It is akin to losing a child.

How easy is it to accidentally set the spray off?

It doesn't have a proper top and was set off in my pocket when I bent down so really easily. The stain washes off really easily too!!

how come this does not cause damage to attacker's eyes? Im aiming to destroy the attacker in any way..so how can this defend someone?

Your attacker will not know what properties your spray has, it will be clearly visible when his hands and clothes turn red, and he will fear for his eyes, this spray looks the part and is to disarm the attacker and buy time, not to blind someone. I carry this with me when out walking, together with a very loud rape alarm, again to buy time, get help, and disarm.
