I'm never normally someone to jump onto Amazon and review an item so quickly but this shelf is amazing! It was packaged very well and there was absolutely no damage at all from delivery. The quality is very high and all the drill holes aligned well. The wooden shelf pieces are very white but I will say that the metal is a slightly warmer white but not very noticeable and I actually preferred it. The shelf itself is extremely sturdy/strong once put together and the main thing I wanted to add was this was the EASIEST thing I've ever put together and there wasn't a need for any extra tools (everything was included). Last thing, although it says it needs 2 people to put together, it definitely doesn't. It just needs a steady hand and it will go up no time :) .

Very cute, easy to put together, and very sturdy. I got it to be my new board game shelf. Included are a few pictures of us trying to figure out how we want to organize it. Great value probably my favorite bookshelf so far.

I'm pleasantly surprised. The quality is ok and it looks good. Very easy to assemble. I did it alone in about 45 minutes. The tolerances are a tad sloppy. This is not German engineering (or even Italian :) ), but for the money (especially considering the tariffs) it's great. The frame is soft metal (aluminum?), so be careful not to over-tighten the screws. I've stripped a screw hole just by hand. Once fully loaded with books, it creaked from time to time for a while; and I didn't secure it to the wall since I don't have to worry about little kids so we'll see how it holds up.

Fantastic piece of furniture. Pretty easy to put together, if you don’t tighten anything down until it’s all together. Only small gripe, Is they make you use a tiny Allen wrench for ALL of the screws. Thankfully I had a size that fit in my drill. It’s holding everything I want, with plenty of space for more purchases on the way!

UPDATE ON ORIGINAL REVIEW: After admiring my son's bookshelf we ordered the 6 tier shelf for ourselves and are quite pleased with the look (see photo). NOTE: the dimensions listed on the site are correct in regard to height. But our unit measured 59 1/2 inches as opposed to the 62" which is listed. This did not impact my "star rating." For the money, this bookshelf/display unit is totally worth it. It was easy to put together by myself and took about 90 minutes *with interruptions. My husband anchored it to our wall. It really opened our area up while still keeping our needed homeschool books/supplies organized and on hand. I ordered this shelving unit a little over a year ago for my son's room, where it sat in the shipping box until yesterday. Feeling brave and ready to tackle a challenge, I rolled up my sleeves and went to work. Admittedly, I felt a little nervous when it said it was a 2 person job but soldiered on. It came together, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions - and it looks great! It's solid, sturdy, and attractive looking. My son is actually putting books on it now. I might upload a photo later. And, I am considering ordering another of the same units for our eating area. That is where we currently keep our schoolbooks (we homeschool).

Substantially large. Takes up roughly half the wall space, so it is pretty perfect for the office. Assembly took about half an hour and all the pieces for together without issue. Nice and solid, too.
