I should have got a water filter years ago. The water quality is much bettee. The Britta cartridges can be expensive to replace, but I guess it's worth it. Much better than buying water bottles. Daughter only drinks water and she can taste the difference. Good, simple design. Easy to wash and clean. Fits in fridge durung summer (if you want). We use the water for drinking, cooking and even for the fish tank.

The water tastes great, I live in Norfolk a hard water area and our tap water smells of chlorine most of the time, I did not drink it, I was only drinking bottled water. Now I have dumpted the bottled water and enjoying my cold filtered water and reduced my plastic waste and am saving money on buying bottled water its a win win.

Decent slim yet large water filter jug. Better made than known competitors. Yes plastic but weaker than earlier models which is annoying. Jug should be a fiver max it's the cartridges which cost an arm and leg. Had no issues with lid but you must be careful spout is flimsy. Limescale will buildup aftee 2 weeks causing water to spill when pouring. Clean after every cartridge change every month or 30 days. Water tastes fresh and crisp. You'll realise how nasty tap water is after.

Very pleased with this product. Saved us a fortune on bottled water and much more convenient. Also saves on plastic waste and contaminants. Plus more room in the fridge! It came with 3 standard filters (each lasts about one month) but when we replenish them will order the lime filter variety as we live in a hard water area. It would be better if they offered you the choice at original ordering.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my filter jug and couldn't live without it. Removes the awful tap taste and smell and delivers crystal clear water. Flows nicely out of the spout and easy to refill by lifting the lid flap. Nice simple clean design. You can use other brand filters too which usually come with a plastic piece to fit under the filter. Make sure you run the tap through the filter alone before adding to the jug to wash away the dusty particles, you'll see them in the bottom of your jug if you don't rinse first although they aren't harmful, just don't fancy drinking black grains.

I had two filter-bottles from generic brands before to buy a real Brita. And I have to say that quality it’s actually pretty superior. The not filtered water will not come out when you are filling a glass for example. The size it’s bigger than my previous ones. So I believe it’s a better investment in general.
