Easy experience for your animals.
The item worked very well. The color orange is great. It stands out and you know it is for your animals. I used it under the front leg, she did not mind it at all. Good to know she did not have a fever. Would recommend.

Good to have on hand
I keep these on hand for emergencies with my pets. Not sure if a pet thermometer really is any different than a people thermometer......but it's my pets. They're spoiled.

Should be good for my horse 1st aid kit.
I bought this in hopes it is a little more durable than the typical horse thermometer. The glass ones are one and gone if they drop.

Don't depend on these.
Purchased two of these and they both worked when tested upon receiving. Then needed them to measure temp a few weeks later and neither one worked. Tried changing the battery that came with them, but still did not work.
