L Mesitran Wound Ointment - 50g

Medical teams are finding this hard to get from their suppliers but I received it in two days from Amazon, It is a great service and the ointment does what it says on the tube, thank you.

Too much air in the tube that took away 1/4 of the product itself.

I bought this product because it says when applied will not cause pain like normal honey. Are you having a laugh I was in agony and totally disgusted with it. Had to wash it straight off and apply germoline. 20 minutes later and the pain still hasn't gone away. Don't buy this stuff unless u like pain.

This product does sting for about 10 mins my district nurses been using this on my leg ulcers and it’s definitely helping heal them I think it’s a marvellous product and I will buying some for myself as u only need a small amount but then u should cover with an atrauman impregnated gauze sterile dressing of a absorbent pad and then some comfi fast to hold the dressing lightly in place change dressing 2 times a week bathing with warm water first

This review is mainly to address the concerns of the one star reviewer. Over the last month I've been treated by the Plastics Clinic at hospital due to a largely 2nd degree burn, plus a small 3rd degree full thickness area, on my leg. This same product (L-Mesitran) has been used throughout & I was warned I might experience some stinging. If it's over applied, the stinging can be worse. My burn, at around 30 sq.in is quite large but a 20g tube is more than sufficient to treat this The Clinic's view is that, if I can put up with the stinging sensation then that is ideal. So that's what I did & found that a Paracetamol 500mg tablet quickly reduced the sensation. I can understand the reviewer's concern but he may using the product without medical advice and therefore assumed it was faulty or unsuitable. I hope this helps.
