As a teacher I wanted a timer for my classroom. These look perfect. The timers are really easy to use and should be loud enough to grab the kids attention. The magnet will be useful to attach to the board and the colours are nice. I can't say that I needed 4 timers but I now have one in my kitchen and 2 spares!

I can’t imagine I’m ever going to need 4 countdown timers but these came in a pack of four, so that’s what I got! They’re not the most stylish items I’ve ever seen (you get one white with blue buttons, one bright blue with pink buttons, one rather loud orange and an even louder green) but they have various pluses that outweigh any negatives.Firstly, they use only one AAA battery - one is supplied (you need to unwrap it from the plastic it comes in) and replacement will be cheap. The display is clear and easily readable (even for those of us who have to spend large periods of time battling with reading glasses!). The timer is easy to set - I’m a fan of Heston Blumenthal’s 6 minute method of getting the perfect boiled egg so need a timer that I can easily set to countdown from 6 minutes. I have a metal noteboard in my kitchen that has various magnets attached to it and the magnet on the back of the timer clamps pretty strongly to my noteboard. Alternatively, each timer comes with a little stand if you want to stand it up. And finally, these work out at only about £2.50 each, which is excellent VFM!

What are the best little things to have I think it's one-of-a-kind is very well made very well designed to get four in one pack which is brilliant these timers can be used all around it can be used pretty much practically for anything which is really good I haven't had any issues or problems with it so far they work very well they're obviously battery powered so there it can be a bit of a sticky one buttons do feel a bit flimsy the material used isn't that great however is a magnet will stick on your fridge and you're good to go I think it's designed in a very simple way which I think is important necessary and it works how it should.
