This adaptor is not able to display 4k at higher refresh rates than 60hz when using HDR on a MacBook Air M3.

Really good quality cable. Well made and works well.

Be aware that this will not work on older laptops. Well it does sort of as there will be 640x480 resolution that is not adjustable. That said on a modern device it is flawless. The cable could be a little longer as it puts a bit of strain on the cable being this short.

Using it with wqxhd monitor, thing is cool as can be. Coming from an hdmi adapter that started showing glitches an becoming incredibly hot this is such a better performance. Caldigit always trusted also, just buy it if you need this conversion.
