Great Christmas Present
Portable size, seems sturdy, easily used

A much enjoyed gift
My 11yr old granddaughter loves this! She carries it between parent houses, my house etc. It can hold quite a bit of art supplies ,and she loves the easel on it. It was one of her favorite Christmas gifts.

Nice kit for beginner or student
Nice kit for a beginner or student in acrylics. The wooden box is nice for holding the panel or canvas. It holds the supplies. It comes with student or beginner brushes and acrylic paints, 2 panels (not canvas), small pallet. Not for an prof artist.

A good compact easel with one issue
This is a sturdy, compact tabletop easel that works well for small spaces and lighter painting sessions. It holds a 20x16 canvas without issue, but the bottom lip is about a quarter of an inch tall, which means it covers the bottom edge of the canvas while you’re painting. My daughter uses this easel to do her paint by numbers. To get around this, I flipped the bottom lip (the piece with the “Falling in Art” logo) upside down so I could reach the full canvas edge. That solved the coverage issue, but now the canvas has a tendency to slide since there’s less grip. The wood feels solid and the easel is easy to adjust, but the design of the lip could be improved. It’s fine for quick painting or sketching, though anyone wanting to paint to the very edges of their canvas may need to tinker with it.

Useful at home and to carry supplies to painting class.
The wooden easel box is attractive and well-made. The movable pieces slide in and out without sticking. The brushes, paints and supplies are of reasonably good quality and make it a very good deal for a beginner. I do use a backboard and plastic wrap to keep from getting acrylic paint on the easel and tray. It's light enough to carry in a big tote bag.
