I grew up switching between Gillette and Schick and the small smattering of other brands out there until suddenly, the market was almost over-saturated in generic brands and even newer, less expensive models (like Dollar Shave and Harry's)...and yes, I tried them all.The truth is they were more alike than not - aside from price. I chose to take an enormous risk and buy me a safety razor. It was more of me trying to retaliate for all the money I had wasted buying those other brands and hoping, praying that the single bladed razor could do as well as the 3, 4, 5 and sometimes 6 bladed razors you can find these days. Now, on the surface, one blade vs multiple seems to be a silly comparison...right? The truth is, one blade really CAN give you just as close of a shave as any multi-bladed system you happen to try.With that said however, not all blades are made equal. I've tried 4 different brands and these are far and away the best. Not only were they plenty sharp, but very smooth, too. I give credit to the manufacture of the shaver I use but the truth is, if your blades are sub-par, it won't matter what the handle is made of or even who manufactured it.The absolute best thing about using a shaving system with a reusable handle and easily replaced blades that you can buy in bulk for less than the cost of 3 cheaply made plastic disposable razors from Walmart...now suddenly I've got 2, maybe 3 years worth of shaving (depending on how often you shave...for me it's twice a week max). Suddenly I see the wisdom in using a safety razor and to be 100% honest, I cannot imagine me even wanting to try something different. These work so well, why switch to literally anything else?If you take anything away from my review I hope it's this: those expensive Gillette, Harry's, Dollar Shave Club or Schick blades are a monumental waste of money and won't give you a closer shave, either...and that's a fact.

I have tried multiple razor blades. These are fantastic. Better than Feather. Smooth shave. These are my new favorite. Highly recommend.

These modestly priced blades fit perfectly in my new/old Gillette Slim Adjustable Safety Razor. They shave cleanly, with no drag or pulling. The only problem I'm having is "learning my face" again to prevent nicks and cuts, but I'm getting there. Since my beard is on the light side, I can use the same blade several times, making them very inexpensive compared to the multiple blade alternatives. When done, I loosen the TTO top, rinse thoroughly and lay the razor in a soap dish to drain and dry.. I've had no problems with rusting with this technique. I cannot speak to their effectiveness or longevity for those who have thick, wiry beards, but at these prices, it could be well worth trying them.

This is my first time using these budget blades. They are individually wrapped and made in China. My first shave was clean with no nicks. The blade seemed to drag a bit more than the Personna blades that I previously used. The shave was close, however. If the rest of the blades are of the same quality I will definitely buy again.

My new best blade for my Henson titanium mild razor. You can't beat the price and performance of these blades. I would put them in line with the Russian-made Astra blades for sharpness, but just a bit smoother than the Astra blades. I consider any blade the gives me 3 or 4 good shaves as good for my beard. With these blades I easily get 4 shaves and find it even does well for a 5th shave.
