Easy to install, rekey with the smartkey system. Works wonderfully as I knew it would. Solved my issue with access. I even paired it with a passage function lever for absolute easy of unlocking and opening.

The media could not be loaded. It is value for money because we use kwikset,that’s mean one key will lock/unlock and this one is also good usinh with existing key incase.Normally it is good that each time don’t want to carry key.We use 8 digit code that works fast locking and unlocking.Orange light shows the door is locked after press one button,unlocking is just entering 8 digits.Installation is easy and no need to have locksmith.Works very good so far,appearance is good .It’s has been couple months and still no need to have battery and also battery indicator has blinking light but so far didn’t have any warning for battery.

Recently purchased a house with 5 entryways on the first floor and replaced all the existing deadbolts with these electronic locks. The build quality feels a step below something like schlage but are very functional. Installation, in my case through replacing old preexisting hardware, is quick and easy. Pin set up is also very quick and painless. One thing I don't like is that auto lock is not preset and must be setup by you.A couple of gripes or observations about these...no batteries are included and each unit requires 4 AA so be prepared. The bolt has a very low bind tolerance and will throw a errors if your catch isn't exactly lined up. Unfortunately for a few of our doors we had to leave the plates off to shave some area before reinstalling.

My kids don't carry keys. This is a beautiful solution. I didn't want to add a new key into the mix on my house, being able to use my old key on this lock was a huge selling point in a competitive space. It was simple to set up my old key to work on this new deadbolt. Great product.

It's easy to install, program, and change to a different key. I set aside 2 hours to remove the old deadbolt, and install this one. It took 30 minutes. Programming the codes is easy, and I appreciate the ability to disable the auto lock function and sound. Changing it to match the key of the previous Kwikset deadbolt took 60 seconds. I did not have to make 6 new keys! I would recommend this product. It looks good, and is at a great price.

I despise this lock, I truly detest it. I bought one from Lowe's and the installation went great, everything worked until I tried to turn on auto-lock, which requires pressing the number 9 as a step in the programming process. Guess which key on the pad doesn't work? That's right, as the Beatles said in the white album, Number Nine. So I think that's just a fluke and order 2 more from Amazon. All of the buttons on the keypad work, but neither of them will allow me to program an access code. Trust me, I'm not one of those people who don't read the instructions and post a one-star review like "it's facing the wrong direction" (but that was good for a laugh, I wonder if they searched for one with the proper orientation), I know what I'm doing and this thing is just too sensitive. To program it the bolt needs to be fully extended, like 1mm less and it won't initiate the process. Then there needs to be almost zero friction on the bolt to complete the programming, if it senses any resistance at all it won't save the access code. But unless there have been some seriously ground-breaking new developments in lubricant technology, achieving zero friction within a universe bound by Newtonian physics remains an impossibility.

I bought these for my last house. I liked them so much that I purchased two more for my new house. Very easy to install and they work very easily as well. Directions were very clear. I would definitely recommend.
