This is a stylish kettle to look at, very good value for the quality & is very easy to use nice opening lid & pours water nicely once boiled, this kettle boils quickly as advertised & opens softly as described, very happy with this purchase would definitely recommend sage kettles to anyone think of buying a kettle.

I bought this kettle just before Christmas, so have had the opportunity to use it now for a while. I'm really impressed. It is a really well made and well finished product. It boils more quickly than my old one did. It is slightly heavier than my previous kettle. but I rarely fill it completely,, so this isn't an issue and I'd rather have a more solid, rather than flimsy, kettle. I like the 'ping' that it gives when it's finished boiling. It looks real stylish and I would definitely recommend this product. In fact we like it so much that I recently bought another Sage kettle in a different finish for my son.

This kettle has a lovely solid feel about it. The handle has a nice ergonomic grip. However the kettle is heavy and the water gauge is hard to read. Not really a problem for me as I don’t fill the kettle too much and I can see how much water has gone in when I fill it up, so the gauge is irrelevant. The ring it makes when it has boiled is useful; I can’t see why other people found that annoying.

I am one of those sad people that will research something like a small kitchen appliance within an inch of its life before making a purchase. The main reason being is because I want to buy the best I can afford for a great quality item that will last. Let's just put this out there - the Sage brand here in the UK is actually produced by Breville though Breville have been going for many years and this is clearly the premium end of their product line. Features I love include the fingerprint proof satin finish and soft open lid. The kettle has a satisfying "ping" once boiled and pours beautifully. We do not have the same issue with regard to the water level indicator - by simply lifting the kettle it's quite apparent how much water is in there and you also have a lid with a glass "porthole" so you can see straight into the kettle itself. All in all, a good quality, nice looking, functional kettle.

On delivery I had a minor fault with mine so duly contacted Sage Customer Services as directed by the Amazon website. The Sage Support website has a Live Chat option but it's always offline regardless of the time of day. Consequently I submitted a Case Form describing my issue. Nothing for nearly a week. Tried ringing on my landline but got recorded message to say they wouldn't accept the call from my number. Eventually got through on my mobile. Spoke to someone who asked me to provide the relevant details and a video of the issue. This I duly did, and then I received an email notification stating they would email a returns label after which when they received the kettle they would send out a replacement. Few days go by, nothing. Rang them again, was told returns label would be emailed. Nothing. Eventually I lost patience and wrote on the Case Form I was returning the kettle for a full refund via Amazon and forget the replacement. Amazon were brilliant, 'no muss, no fuss', got a returns label the same day, sent kettle back, refunded fully within a couple of days. Incidentally, after I let Sage know I was returning the kettle to Amazon for a full refund, lo and behold I received a returns label in my email. While Sage appliances are attractive premium quality items I DEFINITELY WON'T be buying any Sage or Breville (parent company) products in the future. You would think that if you pay a premium price for an appliance you would get premium customer service but this is very much not the case.

Beautiful design. But it boils for too long steaming up the lichen and it’s a heavy kettle so don’t know if it's full. Disappointed for the hearty price tag.

I love the kettle.The only thing I find is it’s quite heavy.Its very solid and well made.
