Good option for a gift
This toy was a nice birthday gift for my daughter's friend. She loved it. The quality is great so, it worth its money. I would recommend it for picachu fans.

Not really interactive
Well if like me you thought this would work similar to the old Furby toys. Think again. Yes it talks when you talk at it but it says the same random words. Yes it makes eating noises when you put the fruit in front of it and yes it does move it's arms ears and tail. Can you train it? Does it do new things? Does it have 45 sounds? No. I have a 7yo who was desperate for this to be so much greater than the over priced piece of plastic that it is. He is fast going to lose interest in it and yet I can see him desperately wanting to love it and get more from it. Avoid buying this as it will be a 5min wonder

Perfect for a Pikachu fan!
Had my eye on this for a while and the best price was on on amazon 👌🏼 It works similar to a furby, in that you have to touch/stroke it in certain ways for it to react with different responses but definitely doesn't have as much functionality as a furby. It's appearance is exactly as you'd want for a Pikachu fan and feels sturdy and of good quality. It has been dropped a few times and it.doesnt seem to have effected it thankfully. It would've been great if it had a little storage bag/box for the food as I'm amazed we haven't lost them yet. Overall my 6yr old pokemon fan is very happy.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my 4 year old nephew and his face lit up as soon as he saw it and was playing with it nearly all day.

Having to return it.
This is a pretty cool toy. I've been a pokemon fan since I was a kid and now my daughter is enjoying it. This was a birthday gift and she really likes it. Pikachu responds when you say his name and makes eating noises when you hold the fruit near his mouth... But ours seems to be faulty as nothing happens when you rub his head (like the manual states) and his ears hand never moved (they are definitely supposed to). It's a same but definitely a cool thing for young pokemon fans if you get a working one.
