This was recommended to me in the surgery recovery room by a nurse. I can't recommend it enough. The large plastic sleeve fits any arm and seals securely to the skin. So far, my cast has stayed nice and dry. Extremely pleased that I've been able to shower daily. One suggestion for potential users - It's extremely helpful to have another person available to put it on me/remove it when done.

First 5.0 rating I've ever given. I had a distal biceps tendon repair surgery two weeks ago. Since then I took two showers using a trash bag taped closed and keeping my arm elevated. Some water still got in, don't know how. Then I bought this cast cover. I was able to get the cast cover over this elbow brace pretty easily with one hand and it sealed around my upper arm tightly. Took a nice long shower and no water at all got in. Excellent.

It works! My cast was completely dry, and I even washed my hair. I ordered the larger size, which is big enough to go all the way over a cast above the elbow, although mine doesn’t. I can get it on with one hand, not sure I could do that if my dominant hand was in the cast. The seal is definitely snug, but it has to be in order to be watertight. My arms are medium/large, not muscular, and I did not experience discomfort from the seal. I’m SO happy to be able to shower!! Highly recommend this product!

I ordered this after my arm was lacerated during a fall in the park. Nasty wound with infection. This sleeve has been fabulous. Easy on and off. Good design. Covers hand to shoulder and watertight too. The hand portion doesn't provide much dexterity but that is the only downside. Highly recommend 👍

I broke my elbow in a couple spots and ended up having a cast that goes from my fingers to my shoulder. I was worried that this wouldn’t fit all the way not only due to my cast being so long, but I’m also pretty tall for a woman (5’10) and this was the perfect fit. It still had some extra room over my shoulder. The silicone top is sturdy and tight, but not uncomfortable in anyway. Made me not have to worry about water seeping through in the slightest! I’ve used this cover 4 times now and there hadn’t been a drop of moisture inside once. 10/10.

I had to have surgery on my arm and could not get it wet for 2 weeks while it was bandaged. I also had to wear a brace the entire time. I found this cast covers for a reasonable price and bought it.The good news is that it is absolutely waterproof. The rubber gasket on the end of the sleeve will seal your arm through anything short of complete immersion, and possibly even then. This is because it is very snug on your arm (at least it is on mine).The plastic is also quite durable. I think it's vinyl and it is much thicker than a typical garbage bag (the other popular alternative for cast covers in the shower).All this makes it waterproof, but also difficult to put on and take off. Wrestling it over my incision site with 1 arm was not fun, nor was getting it over my arm brace. I suspect that a cast might be even more difficult because of the larger size. I have pretty strong hands, I can't imagine what someone who is elderly or frail would do.I used this twice then switched to a garbage bag and surgical tape for the rest of my 2 weeks. This was not as waterproof (the upper part of my brace got damp once or twice) but it was WAY easier to put on and take off, and it never tugged at my incision site.Buy this if you need a really durable, really waterproof solution and can stand to fight with it a bit (or to have someone to help you). It might be tight around your arm so be careful if you suffer from poor circulation or bruise easily. For the price, it's worth it to buy and try, but don't be afraid to switch to a garbage bag and tape if this is too difficult to use.

Well-made, highly effective cast cover. While I exercised caution to minimize amount of water pouring over cover, I think my arm would have stayed dry regardless. The cover fits comfortably, providing lots of room and length while fitting snugly over the upper arm without moving or binding. Definitely recommend!

Son broke his elbow and we needed something that would cover his whole arm. This works well. No issues. He’s had it a couple weeks now and showers at least every other day with it. It’s held up well considering it’s half the cost of some other ones.
