This is one beefy router bit! I needed a bit to do joining of stair treads to a bullnose on the end of the tread. They make these types of stair treads, but they are about double the price and I already had a few treads that did not have the bullnosed end. There are also a few that wrap around posts, etc, that needed some special fitting. I was worried that this bit would have a ton of rip-out and chipping, but I was pleasantly surprised that it cut into the bullnose like butter and exited just as cleanly. Be aware that this bit has a 1/2” shaft and will require the proper collet to use safely. Other than that, setup was a breeze. Since the cuts were so clean, it was easy to setup for the opposing pattern on the stair treads. You could easily see the exact corner to line up to. After the cuts were complete, it was pure joy when the two sides fit perfectly. Fellow woodworkers know the exact feeling. I’m not entirely sure that I need glue, this bit functioned so well… OK, maybe I’ll add a little glue. If you need a mating bit, this one is perfect.

I needed a finger joint router bit fast for a one time project but didn't want to pay a high price for a premium bit or overnight shipping so took a chance with this vendor's item. Received next day (Amazon Prime !!) and was amazed at the fit and finish of this bit. The carbide was extremely thick, pretty much on par with Whiteside or Amana bits and the enamel painted finish as smooth and crisp as a Freud or CMT bit. The cut was accurate which for a finger joint bit is critical. My only reservation is with the top bearing which seems OK for now but skeptical about it's longevity (very typical of other Asian imports). All-in-all, I'm happy with the value and cutting quality and will consider this brand again on my next purchase.

Got this for making flooring out of 3/4 inch wood. Does clean smooth cuts in both my hand held router and table mounted router. Great bit set, well worth getting.

Cutting the channel is easy-peasy with nice, clean results, but cutting the notch (cope) results in slightly messy edges that must be cleaned off. I'll try a $110 cope bit.
