Does the job and easy to use
These pliers worked exactly as intended and made tightening CV boot clamps much easier than improvised tools. Solid build and a good tool to have if you work on axles.

Great tool. Easy to use. Perfect for people with mild arthritis.
I'm used to the plier type clamp pliers, which SUCK!!!!. These however are great and easy to use. Doesn't require any strength.

Works pretty well
Works. Pinches the ear on oetiker clamps pretty well. Be sure to tighten down the Allen bolts so there's no play in the sliding pincers or it'll mess up your clamp. Better than those generic pliers that are too short to have any leverage. Still a little unwieldy as you tighten the driver bolt with a ratchet the whole thing wants to twist with it, but you can hold it in place better.

Great pliers for the money.
I originally bought a set of Performance Pro CV boot pliers from Advance Auto. They were not built right and didn’t allow the tool to pinch the clamp. I found this set on Amazon, ordered it and received it the next day. I have used this set to replace two CV boots and works great!

Worked great. I added some grease to the bolt and moving parts. Made for easy and quick work.

Perfect afforable tool
This thing really saved me. I replaced the rubber boots in a Toyota Camry and I had two other tools to tighten up the clamps, but this one did the job. I know there is a tool like this one that costs around a hundred bucks. Insane that this for that price did the job.

These pliers get the job done for cv boots, handle are thick and strong not like those at 10 bucks and below... buy it!

As advertised Did the job well. Definitely grease all friction points for easier use. A tool to last. Not the quickest acting but very firm and no grip strength required to crimp. Useable in vehicle and on the bench.
