When I first pulled this griddle out of the box, I immediately noticed how heavy and well made it is. The welds are perfect and I assume robotic welds. The handles are well made and came with very nice hardware for mounting. Speaking of the hardware, the nuts are the closed-in acorn type for a very smooth finish with nothing sharp to snag anything on. It even came with tools to install the hardware! Nice touch!I gave it a good washing with hot soapy water, dried it, and put it on my Lynx grill for seasoning. I oiled the cooking surface heavily with grapeseed oil three different times and heated to smoke point each time and allowed it to cool down between each heating and cooling cycle. While heating I did notice a couple of small areas in a couple corners where the temperature was lower by quite a bit, but I think it was my grill, and not the griddle. I've only used it once since seasoning to cook bacon and hamburgers and it did an excellent job! The removable drip-tray makes clean-ups a piece of cake.I clean it the same way you clean a large commercial griddle. Take a restaurant style squirt bottle (not a spay bottle) and fill it full of water, a large wad of paper towels, and a long set of grilling tongs. While it's still very hot (at least 350* or more) squirt about 1/2 cup or more water all over it. Immediately wipe it down as the oils and debris boils up from the surface. No soap needed! I clean the griddle on my Jenn-Air the same way and it develops an excellent non-stick cooking surface. After it completely cools you can wipe it again with a paper towel moistened with a little oil, if you like. This method works equally well on cast iron. That will protect the cooking surface between uses and will burn off on the next reheat. I think grapeseed oil makes the best high-temp griddle oil.If you're looking for a quality griddle for your gas or charcoal grill, or just to use over the camp fire, this is your Huckleberry!

This was hard to clean and It seemed like it didn't get hot enough so my food took awhile to cook. The griddle fit my grill perfectly and didn't move while cooking.

The media could not be loaded. Should have read the reviews more closely. Apparently you either get a great one or on that warps after 1 or 2 uses. Warped so badly we could barely use it to cook and even after cooling off it's at least 1/2" from level.Returning today.

Absolute trash product. I ordered 2. One as a gift. Used it the first time it warped so bad can't cook on it. I wanted for breakfast cookingCan't cook eggs just runs into the catch tray. It's OK for sausage and potato's but nothing else. Just used for the first time today 7 14 I have one still in the box I won't be giving a gift. For the price I'm not happy the return date has come and gone. And I have a productive can't use it's trash

This product arrived in the usual Amazon way. Packaged Very well and delivered Fast. The Griddle appears to be made of quality material and has some weight to it. No ruff edges on mine. It fits on my 4 burner gas grill just right. I plan on making some Smash Burgers Tomorrow. If anything changes I will update. As for now, Very satisfied with the purchase. Main thing about Stainless Steel is make Sure it's hot enough before cooking. A drop of water should ball up and roll like mercury. If it stays in one spot and boils away it ain't hot enough. Looks great. Cooked good but bent after the first use.

I was thinking of buying a flat grill for cooking on my patio. I have a gas grill and a smoker and was running out of room and did not want to spend a lot of money. I ordered the grill top and installed it for Memorial Day. It gave me the flat cooking surface I needed but not for a lot of money. Problem was solved.
