Excellent flat pedals – great grip and looks
I really like these pedals. They look great on my new mountain bike and perform exactly as expected. The platform feels solid, the grip is excellent, and my feet stay planted even on rough terrain. Lightweight, well-made, and easy to install. For the price, these are hard to beat. Highly recommend.

Wide, durable, sticky platforms
Wonderful Platforms! These work great with Keen size 14EE lowtop hikers. Great support for wide feet. After well over 100 hours, there is no play in the bearings, and I have never had a foot come off riding trails, jumping, hopping, etc. They stay stuck solid when pulling up and moving the rear of the bike around. The only time my feet have come off the pedals is when I step off. The pins are not chewing up these shoe soles at all.

Squeaky noise easy fix, great pedals
Have used these pedals for 3 months, about 700 miles, and really enjoy them! Good size, very grippy, and a nice price for something that looks and feels quality. My one problem was that they squeaked! A horrible creaking noise with every pedal stroke. Sounded like a bird was yelling at me as my foot rounded the crank. I solved this no problem by putting a little chain lube on the spot where the pedal meets the crank arm. Silence now and so all around 5 stars from me.

My feet do not move off of these pedals, and they look great
I had a little trouble getting my old broken pedal off as they'd been on the bike for a long time, but once off these new ones were easy to install. They're clearly marked with an L and R for where to install them, and once on I immediately noticed a difference. They are quite wide, which is great for getting more purchase on the pedals. As others have noted, the metal spikes on each side hold your shoes very securely. I image they may tear up the soles of some shoes if you pivot your feet on the pedals a lot (I don't because I simply can't; my feet don't move a millimeter once I place them on the pedals!). These give me a very secure footing on my pedals and allow me to not think twice about my feet over sliding off the pedals. They feel very solid and high quality. I bought the orange color and I think they look awesome. I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend these pedals to anyone who wants great pedal to shoe traction without using clip-in shoes.

Good value pedals, didn’t work for me.
Pretty good value, definitely well-made flat pedal. I’m torn writing a review b/c the cons outweigh the pros for me specifically with bad ankles but they will be fine for most people. Pros: - super grippy with any MTB specific sole. Some pins only work well with 5-10 rubber, not these. -really light for price and relative durability. Heavy guys who ride steep rocky terrain might want more pedal. -pretty easy to reposition shoes while riding. Cons: -pins destroy soles faster than any pedal I’ve owned. I think it’s a combo of skinny pins and convex shape. -convex shape leads to odd pressure points in thin soled shoes. -convex shape combined with the center bulge causes my feet to feel like they are going to roll outward in rocky/bumpy terrain. Not a problem on mellow terrain, but occasionally I hit a spicy section of trail on my hard tail with these and feel like I’m about to roll an ankle.

Great Product and Great Delivery
I've only had the pedals for a couple of days but so far, they feel amazing! My whole foot fits comfortable on the ride body and I have not missed the clipless pedals and shoes at all! Great price and arrived next day! Awesome!

Just get them
W.O.W. I've tried a few flats - Neutron clones, Chesters, Deity T-Mac clones - but really nothing compares to these. - I was a fan of grub screws and didn't really like the grip on Chesters with the 3mm pins. These solve it with 10, 3mm pins/side. Amazing grip. Mind=changed. - I was a fan of aluminum pedals for durability and cost. These glide off rocks and are 1/3 the cost of comparable aluminum pedals. Mind=changed again. - I'm old and I need grip on technical downhills, but there's always this "are you REALLY locked in on these pedals right before you hit that STEEP drop?" feeling right before you commit. With these? Lawd, I'm STUCK ON THE PEDALS. Mind=Changed yet again. What do I like? 1. They glide off rocks. Took a HUGE hit last weekend on a technical trail - hard enough I thought the pedal would crack. I didn't even bend the pins. My aluminum pedals kind of "stick" when I hit a rock. These "pop" or "glide", kind of hard to explain unless you've done it. 2. They have incredible grip. Way better than grub screws with FiveTen Freeriders, and far better than comparable 3mm pin pedals. Lots of pins. Although the pedal is nylon, it is stiff. 3. They have a huge platform. The last set of pedals required me to be "just right" when putting my foot down. On these, it is impossible to miss the pedal. Great confidence on any kind of trail. 4. They are truly flat (almost convex). I originally favored "concave" pedals, where the ball of the foot found a pocket in the slight curve of the pedal. As I got more comfortable I realized that this just locked my foot into one position on the pedal. With these "flatter" flats I can put the ball of my foot further forward of the axle, which is better power. I can feel it on steep descents, steep climbs, and jumps. What don't I like? Hmmm. . . the packaging is utilitarian. Price. I dare you to find a better price to performance ratio than these. Color. Green. It's not easy being green. Unless you are these pedals. Just get them.

Love these!
I only started riding a few months after not riding a bike in 25 years. I have a hybrid Trek that I only ride on paved trails. I wanted something more energy efficient and safe than the stock pedals. The thought of clipless pedals scare me, and apparently toe cages aren't recommended. Then I read about MTB flat pedals that are perfectly well suited to road bikes, as well. Did a bunch of research and settled on these. Bonus was the colorful options. Of course, then I also had to buy appropriate cycling shoes. I got the Specialized 2FO shoes and they work perfectly. The pedal nicely grips the shoe and I've had no issues with my foot sliding forward or flying off the pedal. Highly recommend.
