I searched Amazon for a knifeless multitool, so I could carry it with me in my motorcycle pannier. This item includes a locking knife blade, which is not mentioned anywhere in the description. Possession of such a blade is an offence under s.139 Criminal Justice Act 1988, unless you have a lawful reason for doing so. The sale of knives is also strictly governed, which is why (I suspect) that they haven't included the inclusion of a knife in the description. This item is useless for the purposes it was bought for, due to this.

I have now bought two of these and I’m about to buy a third, why? Because each time that I show one to my adult sons they ask to “borrow” it and then “forget” to return it!The multi tools are well built, substantial and very capable for the price. I had always worried about losing my more expensive multi tools, but with these you get all the functionality at a fraction of the cost.

The photos do not show that this includes a lockable knife blade meaning it is illegal for EDC in the UK. Pity - because it feels great in use.

Nice tool but as the blade locks IT IS ILLEGAL TO CARRY IN UK ado it cannot be described as edc!!
