Updated - after a couple months of use
*Update: After using this for a while, I'm becoming quite spoiled and am glad I bought the 2 so I can use one at work, too. And I have adjusted how I hold the pen and no longer have an issue with the power switch. In fact where it is is kind of handy for when I'm turning on my computer and have to real quick turn the mouse off and on because I forgot to turn it off. So in all I'd say I'm really glad I bought this and it's helped with my repetitive movement injuries from other types of mice.----------------------Original Review:TLDR: Great idea! Great price! Works! But design needs an adjustment.*THE GOOD:I really like how this is pen shaped. I have had a lot of issues with repetitive movement injuries in my hand from different kinds of mice. (Regular = wrist and pinky pain, Vertical = Middle and Index Finger pain. Track Pad = Just don't like it.) So a pen seems like a logical solution for me as one who doesn't have issues with writing or drawing. Also it works!! Does all the mouse things. Takes a bit of getting used to, but it's easy to handle.*THE BAD:The On/Off switch, which is hard, scratchy plastic, sits directly on the skin between my thumb and index finger, and it's irritating my hand. I can adjust my grip and avoid it, but when my hand relaxes, it jabs me. They really should have put it somewhere else.*THE UGLY (but not a problem):The Left Click Button looks slightly different from the package. But it's easy to click so maybe it was a redesign which was not reflected in the packaging. (That or an imposter lookalike. That's also possible.)Keep the pen down - It's natural to slightly lift the tip of the pen while reaching to move the cursor, but if you do it loses connection. (It *is* a mouse after all.) So be careful to keep it flush with the surface while you're working.Slow Delivery - It took two weeks to arrive despite being purchased from Prime. Given current circumstances I'm willing to let it slide. And, after all, I was informed it would be late. But anyone reading this review might like to know that.*CONCLUSION:It works and I like the pen feel of it. It takes a little getting used to, but it's intuitive. But that scratchy power switch... I might put a band-aid over it or saw it down.

Great on almost all surfaces, but not great if you use your left hand
This is a really great concept! I ordered a two-pack, and I'm really liking them. I'm using these on Windows 10 systems, so I can't speak to how it works with anything else.First, though, the picture is wrong: the left mouse button is a larger pad button at the base of the pen with a big L on it-it sits naturally under the index finger. The right mouse button is on the side of the pen where (if you are right-handed) it falls naturally under your thumb. The scroll wheel is right above the left mouse button, also easily reached and turned with your index finger. There is another little button on the top, above the scroll wheel which is used to adjust the dpi sensitivity of the optical sensor. I haven't found that useful yet.Works well with both the laptop and the desktop. Works on most surfaces, though the plastic Lifetime table in my workroom doesn't seem to activate the sensor, no matter how I adjust it. No biggie, though, cause there's lots of other surfaces in there, including bead mats and mouse pads. It's a bit tricky with soft surfaces, like the cushions on my couch, but I got used to the amount of force I needed to activate the buttons after a little "training" of my hands.I thought the stand was going to be a laugh, but it's actually pretty stable. I may stick it down (so my cats don't play with it), but so far, I find it extremely useful and clever. The stylus works like any stylus should; it's a soft tip. Since the battery in under that compartment, it's got enough weight to counter the mouse at the other end.I'm ambidextrous, so I tried the mouse part out in both hands.Right-handed, it works well, but left not so great. The "right mouse button" is in a place where it's easy for your thumb to press in the right hand, but it requires you to use the first knuckle of your middle finger for that button if you use it in your left hand. Just freaking awkward. However, most of my left-hand use is point, click, and scroll, so it's not too annoying for *me*, but your mileage may vary. The stylus doesn't have bells and whistles, so left-handed is no different than right for me there. For the most part, this is an adequate, usable mouse for me. I like the footprint and the ease of use, at least in my right hand.Possible improvements: I wish it was rechargeable instead of a battery. I would like an ambi version, though I don't know what that would look like (I switch hands a lot).

Steep learning curve
I thought using a pen mouse would be great as I write all the time and this would give me more accuracy than using a pen mouse. Au contraire. Maybe because my hands are small but trying to manipulate the buttons while holding the mouse is incredibly difficult. Where the roller is located on the pen (above the selector) means I have to choke back on the pen after using the selector button and vice versa. The use is not smooth at all. And for the left click on the thumb, I get that it is trying to mimic a similar configuration to a regular mouse but you can't maintain the cursor over the highlighted text when trying to use the thumb button. Incredibly frustrating, it takes me about 5-10 tries to try to highlight text and then left-click to either copy or drag or other function from a drop-down menu. I would not recommend this product unless you have a lot of time to play around with it or start using as a child.

50% chance it will arrive broken or unusable
I've purchased 10-20 of these already because they are the only mouse I can find that doesn't cause me excruciating pain. For me to write a 1-star review about a product that has basically saved my career speaks to how poorly these are made. I just ordered two and neither one works, and this is not the first time. I have ordered so many because they break in a month, if they work at all. Either the main click-button breaks or the battery switch breaks, they are both cheaply made fragile plastic. Also the battery cover can be incredibly difficult to pry open. If you are in excruciating pain using a regular mouse then you are stuck like I am, otherwise please save yourself a buck and don't worry about the company, I'm paying these guys enough all by myself for them to stay in business. Somebody please make a product like this but with better quality parts!
