Top Loading EPP Insulated Food Pan Carrier with Three 8" Deep Third-Size Stainless Steel Hotel Pans 24"*15"*11.4" Blue

This review is actually for the large, single pan option as we accidentally received it & decided to keep it. I have to say the container is well built. The steel handles on the sides are sturdy, and the four metal buckles hold the lid down securely. The picture shows the lid being opened up & back like a cooler, however be aware this appears to not work that way, if that is your intention. It's made to open all four buckles and be removed, and can sit under the box. The empty container will hold 36 quarts as advertised, without any pans inside. The single metal plan, at the time of this review, is stated a little incorrectly "35 Qt(7.5 gal) in capacity". When you figure 7.5 gallons, that is actually 30 quarts. We did fill up the metal pan and it did hold 30 quarts to the very top, however we had to remove one quart, to put the sealing lid on it or it would have overflowed. The sealing lids with the pre-formed silicone gasket appears to be very good quality & would expect them to last.As a temperature check, we just fill the pan up with the 29 quarts of warm water from the tap, and it was at 126 degrees Fahrenheit. We closed the box up, and after two hours, it was 123 degrees Fahrenheit; after four hours it was 121 degrees Fahrenheit. We left it sitting overnight and did not expect it to be warm the next morning, however even after 13 hours it was still 114 degrees Fahrenheit. The ambient temperature in the house during this time was 72 degrees all night, so this little unit is impressive at heat retention. We have not tested it with cold items as it was purchased to cater Church events & other charity work, so we anticipate our own use to be mainly for hot items. We would recommend this product to others and we plan on buying another one with the two or three pan options. Also, the pans used in this box are the standard sized hotel steam pans, up to eight inches deep. The sealing lids is what makes these units unique, for those who need to transport the box and trying to avoid spills.

This product keeps food warm for a great length of time. It’s a little heavy but other than that works great!

Sure if I could have more I would, but this one is what I can use. The three 1/3rd pans work as intended, the tops I happen to like for my specific purpose.Good day

We have used this twice, and the handle broke off one of the pans. Otherwise we are happy with the product.

I ordered a second because the first was will worth it. The compartments are great for different meats, love the secure carrying case, keeps food hot, free of bugs, dirt and spill proof. Latch lid gives that extra security and weight of the carrying case its secure for travel, rough roads and unexpected weather. Love it!!
