Great Cooperative Game
I love how this game has different levels, makes it more or less challenging to play depending on the players’ age. There are 6 levels and we are currently feeling challenged by level 3 & especially 4 which we cannot beat. Level 1 & 2 are perfect for playing with my 7 year old son! Love that there are also rules for solo game play! So unique and worth having if you love strategy board games, like Catan but cooperative!

Good challenging coop game
I've never played Carcassonne, but ordered this after hearing from others that it was a great coop game.Add one more positive recommendation! The game is well made and offers gradual increases in difficulty. It also is broken down into enough different variants so that you can easily learn the rules, and then add different mechanisms as you get more experienced.Solid game!

Great light Coop and Competitive family game
We bought this game for Halloween and it was a great purchase. It plays like a cooperative family game on its own or you can combine it with the original to add a competitive, but strategic “take that” element. It has different difficulty levels for all ages. My 8yo plays and has a good time even up to level 3 coop.

Easy and fun!
We love the cooperative aspect of this game! It's easy to learn and fun for all ages! We love playing it in our family with adults and kids ages 5 and up. It has different levels, so each game can add a new challenge. We haven't tried it yet with our Carcassonne base game, we've had too much fun with it as a stand alone game now, but we are looking forward to using it as an extension for the base game sometime too.

Don't like conflict?
Sometimes there are people who just don't like to play games where you can get into direct conflict with other players. The regular Carcassonne sometimes demands you try to make things difficult for another player. But this cooperative version has everyone building roads and cities together and trying to actively share roads and cities to get the most points and vanquish the ghosts. While I enjoy regular Carcassonne much more, this is still an entertaining way to play with those who prefer coop. The game plays mostly the same as regular but there are ghost and cemetery tiles that can come out that the players need to defeat. Difficulty can be adjust from very easy to hard. The game can have up to five players, you could probably have more players with another set added. If you've never played Carcassonne before I prefer that version. But for those who do not like player confrontation and want to give Carcassonne a try this is worth a try. Hope this review helps!

Fun and cleaver addition/expansion to my Carcassonne collection
Fun and challenging as a stand alone game. Even better when used as an expansion to classic Carcassonne. Enjoy!

Cool Cooperative Carcassonne
Carcassonne is one of my favorite games. This version is a standalone cooperative version where players are trying to lay tiles in a way to score points collectively before they are overrun by ghosts. The artwork and theme is great. You can also play the game as an expansion to the base game. The game includes multiple “levels” so you can learn the game in steps. Great quality and replayability. Highly recommend and that is How Lou Sees It.

Love Carcassonne
Another great Carcassonne game! I like that it can be played as a stand alone game and integrated into the base game. It’s nice that it can also be played solo. I played on level one and two and felt that level two was almost impossible to beat even with two experienced strategists. Definitely worth adding to my collection
