Extremely well made.
I am very particular about products, and because this is in a way a "travel product", about finding the intersection between function and portability. The feeling in the hand of this product inspired me to write this review. The designers and implementers of this product at OXO are to be put down on the eternal list of people who conceived and made wonderful things. The way the arm for the grinding part collapses back on itself to insure that the footprint of the grinder stays tight, but does so in a way that feels like my hand finds it and collapses it without needing to read any manual ... these things are difficult to do. The level of resistance it has to coming out of its collapsed form is just right. The heft of the body of it is just right. How it screws tight and unscrews is just right. The dialing of the burr grinder is also just right - no manual required to understand it, and' clicks + visual marks to tell me where it is on the dial. I probably have 5 travel grinders, so I am not unacquainted with the genre. And here, I am ... deeply impressed. A+, my OXO friends. Well done.

Good travel grinder
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. While there are certainly better hand coffee grinders available at similar price points, this grinder gets the job done. Most importantly, its compact size and plastic build make it easy for travel (hiking, work trips, etc). Although it feels a little wobbly while grinding, it is not at risk of breaking. I personally love bringing this grinder along when staying in hotels for work so I can still get a quality cup of coffee in the morning. The grind size does not vary much despite the dial, and it can really only grind enough for a cup or two at a time. For real coffee snobs, or those who may brew large quantities, an electric grinder is a better choice.

Compact
It's so simple to use and my favourite part is the smell of freshly ground coffee beans. I Switch up the grind size for the moka pot and espresso machine.

I actually love it. I can grind both coffee beans and dried whole spices.

Better than I expected , took a while to dial it in for espresso , but a notch under 4 for the current beans I have are perfect. Grinds 18g of beans in 20-30 seconds , fun little workout but easy enough. Happy to have this for travels but I enjoy using it at home too.

Content with the purchase she's solid in the most part. The grinds bowl gives the impression it wants to come off while grinding but is secure, stactic is a thing not a big deal i may start spraying my beans with a mist of h2o before grinding to resolve the static issue.

It appears well built and works fine. At setting #3 it is not as fine as the ground coffee that I was buying. It took me 2-3 minutes to grind 40 grams of beans (which fills the hopper) for 12 cups of coffee. This is more work than I was expecting, although I have nothing to compare it with.
