Great chess computer
I love this chess computer. I haven't played chess for years due to having no-one to play it with. It is easy to use and fun. I haven't tried all the levels yet, as it keeps beating me, but hopefully that will change soon.

Great Programme - let down by plastic!!
I love playing this product I found it easy to set up and a pleasure / ease to play. It is let down by cheap plastic casing and the display is not very clear. That said I bought it to challenge me and it certainly does that. I do love the many functions available eg hints / take back etc

Not fit for purpose... zero stars.
The board feels very cheap and flimsy. The magnets on the pieces are extremely weak and barely stick to the board (obviously you don't want them to be too strong, but these are too far the other way). The board is very unresponsive when you press the pieces down to make a move, so much so that the whole thing bends under the force you have to use. However, the reason I'm returning the item is that it's impossible to fit all the pieces in the storage compartment. As for how it plays chess, who knows? I tried it briefly but it was too frustrating to complete a game. I can't find anything positive to say about this thing.

Great set
Easy to use, I use my finger to press the squares to move the part. The computer is very good, well beats me. Has lots of different levels. The only down side is storing the pieces under the board bit tight to get them all in.

It works smoothly.
I have had the chess computer for about 3 weeks now. It works like it sould not like the other one which I had to send back another make.

Useful for beginners but expensive
I've given this three stars because it has more the look and feel of "made in China" than made in .Germany. As such it is quite pricey. There is a container underneath that is too small to fit the pieces in. Despite being magnetic, the pieces slide about rather too easily. The LCD display is not very clear - the moves are easy to see but the representation of the pieces is not so good - you only really need these if you accidentally move the pieces and need to put them back in the right places. That said, I am a beginner and I've found it to be a helpful learning experience. If you make a mistake you can undo moves easily. If you don't know what to do next you can press the "hint" button and choose the option given - in time you learn to spot things that you used to miss. I can now beat in at "Fun level 1" and "Fun level 2" without undoing any moves and ignoring it if is asks if I am sure when I've not made a good move. "Fun level 3" is beating me at the moment unless I undo moves and take hints. Setting the language, changing the level etc. are straightforward, and I've not had any problems with the pressure sensors when making moves.

Great Chess Computer. Badly Designed Chess Piece Storage
As a chess computer and for design would be five star. Four stars only due to chess piece holder compartment needing someone with a physics degree to fit all the pieces in, I couldnt. Bought a calico draw string bag in the end, which defeats the object of having everything in one place.
