STAEDTLER 308 C2-9 Pigment Liner Black Chisel Tip 0.3-3.00 mm

Spring semester's final project in my literature course had us making our own comic books. These pens were not used the way Staedtler had probably intended they be used. I colored the entire background of every single page, pitch black. 16 pages in total (because I decided to also make a front cover—who ever read a comic book with no front cover?), and I ended up murdering five of these pens. Five pens for 16 standard sketchpad papers. The first five pages did curl, but the other 11 did not, so I'm chalking that up to user error. These pens will last a very long time if you are NOT coloring the entire page black. If you are coloring an entire page black, then I'd say each the pen can handle (depending on how much background you actually have) anywhere from 3-5 pages. Does not smudge, dries pretty dang quick, great for coloring right up against panels and maintaining straight edges. I highly recommend, Staedtler is always my go-to for fineliners and pigment liners. They never disappoint.

This one is soo much fun! I am able to switch tip appearance with just a twist of the tip, from fine point, to Calligraphy and extra fine point. The quality is good but I've always used this brand because of their products always having really crisp, clear and precise colors, I have mostly use their pencils and the various pencil sizes, they are ready to use on a daily basis. I recommend this brand of drawing utensils no matter the reasons you may need them, they are a solid and good brand whose products live up to their hype. Enjoy!

Great on paper but it smudges when you label or write on objects.

It wrote perfect for a little while and then ran out of ink....so buy several....will order again yo finish project..

I’m pretty picky about my chiseled tip pens but this works great. Great ink coverage, doesn’t smudge and most importantly the chisel doesn’t mush and lose shape even when writing with a firm pressure

Quality that you would expect from this brand. Highly recommend. You know the nib won't bend or break.

Ottima per i riempimenti dei neri fatti con penne della stessa serie. La punta a scalpello somiglia a quella dei pennini piatti, anche se non ne ha la flessibilità, quindi va bene anche per linee dritte e per scrivere in modo particolare.
