Winnie The Pooh - Springtime With Roo [DVD]

I purchased this DVD for my son who loves Winnie the Pooh. His favourite is Roo so I was optimistic about this story. It is very much about roo and when it cuts to a different character it very much focuses on that characters relationship with Roo or something Roo has done etc. there is a lot of conversation between the characters and the narrator. There are several instances where the characters come out of the book being read and in typical Winnie the Pooh film style you see the book with words. In this story particularly everyone is very excited for Easter but rabbit, who is also the Easter bunny would rather have a spring cleaning day and boss everyone around and make rules. In the end Rabbit realises how horribly he treated his friends and makes a proper effort to make them happy. Lovely nice story.

I saw this Disney film on television and thought it would make an ideal Easter gift for my 4 year old grandson. His bedroom at my house is Winnie the Pooh orientated, bedding and pictures and posters all feature the pals.The film has lessons on sharing and giving which is good for a 4 year old to see. I tried for a DVD and was successful. The service was first class. Most importantly, the film was enjoyable and my grandson loved it.

Just about to buy our second copy as our 2.5 yr old son has finally broke the first copy through constantly trying to put it on, or running round the house with it thrusting it it at the nearest adult. Great animation, great characters, if your kids love Winnie the Pooh they will love this.Perhaps should only have 4.5 stars as it's loses out only marginally to 'Tigger the Movie' and 'Piglets Big Movie' due to their absolutley stunning (Japanese) animations and slightly better stories.

My Grand Daughter loves Winnie the Pooh, probably because her Nursery is done out in 'Winnie' so I thought I'd get her the dvd for her 1st birthday. She's starting to watch TV now so hope she loves this. If not I know her Mummy will as she has all the Disney films and still watches them.

Craved by my 5 year old granddaughter so that when I gave her £5 to spend for her holiday, she asked me if she could spend it on this, so we got straight down to order it on Amazon which she loved helping with. I gather the film is a great hit with her and is much-quoted.

Disappointed that the dvd arrived with a completely different cover than advertised. It was bought as an Easter present for my almost 3 year old but she won’t visually know it’s related to springtime from this quite plain/boring cover. So yeah, disappointed before it’s even been opened/played!

My 4-year old son and 2-year old daughter absolutely love the original Winnie the Pooh and both enjoyed this, sat quietly and watched the whole thing. And who doesn't love Roo!

I'm writing this review on behalf of my 2 year old. She was transfixed didn't move from the sofa the whole time it was on. For that alone I give it 5 stars.

The movie was ok, but should have ad it s an. Easter. Movie.

Children will laugh

The kids loved watching this on Easter, even though it says Springtime, it involves Rabbit playing the Easter Bunny and all the complications that come along with it. Will definitely play next year for the kids on Easter.

Our granddaughters aged six and three loved this video. The quality was great - super colour and sound. And as with all Pooh stories a lovely message.

I sent it to my two grandsons aged five and three who did not have any books or movies on Winnie the Pooh They loved them
