Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Control Shampoo & Conditioner Lavender Scent 32 Ounces, Odor Control Formula

I have a Belgian malinois husky mix called a beluski she has fairly long thick hair and when I bathe her with this she comes out soft shiny and smells great! Good price for quality shampoo. Works great on my dog.

The shampoo worked really well to remove skunk spray from our dogs. You don’t need to use a bunch of it for it to be effective. Also as a bonus no wet dog smell.

Pro. It does what the product says I discovered it when I was at a doggie self washing store. My poor pup had an encounter with skunk the pup thought it was a stray cat and try to play. That to put a long store short.Con. It will take a few washes especially for larger and hairer pups. So in some cases it may take more then one applications. So don't think one and done. Hence the 4 star.

I live in a rural area and we have a lot of skunks. At least once a year, my dogs get skunked. This doesn't completely eliminate the smell (nothing seems to) but it sure knocks it back enough that they can come back in the house! I end up doing two or three shampoos with it. Eventually, the smell goes. I have been using Nature's Miracle for many, many, years and have many bottles on the shelf. I highly recommend it.

We washed our dog with this shampoo, followed the directions and waited the 5 minutes it directed us to. We did a second wash just to be sure. He smelled very faintly of skunk but it was good enough.... for 3 days..... and then the skunk smell came back with a vengeance. The next time we washed him with the same shampoo in the same manner it did not work as well. The skunk smell did not improve as much this go around. It seems to be about as effective as using tomato sauce. Just covers up the smell, doesn't really improve/eliminate it.
