Great seed pods
These are amazing. Ive used them last 2 summers to start my flowers. Seeds sprout within 4 days. Easy to use. I place them in an old cake pan and then add water and stick seeds down in them. So easy and cheap. After water is added they expand 3-4x their side within 30-60 seconds . I add water to bottom of pan 2 x a week

Good price, easy seedling starters
This was an easy method to start individual seeds, good price! They soaked up water like a sponge, and my grandson was impressed with 'planting'. They held the right amount of water without being oversaturated - but be aware that city water (i.e. chlorinated) is not good for plants - I'm not sure it's good for humans either, but sigh, it is what it is. I use rain water or reverse osmosis to minimize water issues. If plants grow poorly, check your water, sunlight and temperature since these all play a role - don't blame the seed pods then! These were used inside before the season warmed enough to transplant out.

Did not really like them.
Not as good as Jiffy7. Do not hold a neat space.

Great product for growing seeds
I got these to use for my Kindergarten class when we planted seeds i needed soil enough to fill a small cup and this worked great. I started the seed in a paper towel and transplanted them into the soil.Great product for the price

Peat Pot Dreams and Root-Bound Realities
As a first-time gardener, it’s safe to say I went full “Add to Cart” on every product the internet told me I might need. If a video said “great for beginners,” I probably already bought it. So when multiple gardening folks swore by starting seeds in peat pots because they’re an “inert growing medium,” I thought, “Perfect! Let’s do this right.”And honestly, at first? These things were magical. Add a little water and—poof!—they puff up like those sponge dinosaurs I used to get in capsules as a kid. My seeds popped up beautifully, reaching for the sky like they had big dreams. But then came Transplant Day…This is where things took a turn. The peat pots, being super breathable (yay for seedlings), also dry out fast—and if you’re even a day late to transplant, the roots will start growing through them like an escape room challenge. I tried cutting the pots away gently, but pulling the roots free felt like a gardening surgery gone wrong. A lot of the roots—especially taproots—got damaged. My poor little plants bounced back (eventually), but it definitely slowed them down.Round two, I tried skipping the cutting altogether and just planted the peat pot directly into a bigger container. Spoiler alert: don’t do that. The roots tried poking out but couldn’t fully break through the pot, so the plants just got cozy being root-bound and completely stalled out. It was like giving them a new apartment but locking the front door.To be fair, these pots are super easy to use and fun to watch hydrate and expand. But in the end, the transplant drama just isn’t worth it. I’ve since upgraded to proper seed trays with a humidity dome and coco coir mix—and I’m never going back.Rating: ★★★☆☆They work, but only once, and you risk losing progress or root health if you're not careful. Great for the “wow” factor and convenience, but for the price, reusable seed trays and a DIY mix are the better long-term win.

Easy to use! Makes indoor gardens way less messy!
I’ve already gone through this pack and ordered another one. They are AMAZING for indoor gardening. So easy to use, they fit perfectly in my little UV greenhouse thing and they make it so I don’t have to scoop a bunch of soil. Just soak, plant and go. I love these. Almost all the seeds Ive planted have sprouted and they survive transplants really easily cause you can just bury the little bag!
