I’ve been using the Nicpro 0.9 Mechanical Pencil Set for a bit now and so far I really like it. The design is sleek, and the pencil feels sturdy in my hand without being too heavy, which makes it comfortable for long writing, or homework sessions. The lead it comes with is okay—it gets the job done for schoolwork, but I do wish it was a bit darker. If you prefer bolder writing or sketching, you might want to grab some darker replacement lead. As for the erasers, they’re average. They work fine but don’t expect them to last too long or completely erase without a trace. For the price, though, this set is a great deal. It’s reliable and looks great, so I’d recommend it to anyone who needs a mechanical pencil for everyday use. On a side note, the pencil doesn't show fingerprints as I suspected it might, which is great.

Quality product all around, great feeling when writing or sketching. Weighted grip adds extra comfort and precision. I fully recommend this product for anyone considering and the extras that are included are great!

I got these pencils for school due to the simplistic but neat design. The weighted tip helps assist straight line drawing, and the led has many settings for led strength. Ive let people borrow it and they've said it is perfect for thoes looking for a nice drawing pencil as you can sketch, shade, fill, annotate, everything. It comes with a great amount of led for both of the pencils, and the erasers (Small and large) work wondefully. The only issue i've found is the tip sometimes unskrewing, but i've found this is common amongst all pencils that have a changing in led strength so that may be connected. Overall a wonderfull product

I’ve always used pens, but living on a sailboat taught me, when ink gets wet it runs. Therefore, pencils became a must. I tried traditional #2 pencils, but they were more of a necessity. Not sure how I stumbled on these, maybe a YouTube video or something. But, I can tell you that I am so glad I did. These mechanical drafting pencils are not just a utilitarian item, they are an absolute pleasure and make writing almost something to look forward to. I abused the first set so much, that they eventually broke. I can’t think of one pen or pencil that could take the abuse I put them through. To say I’m impressed, would be an understatement; so much so, that I bought another set, now that I’m living back on land.

Use this pencil for work. I do a lot of paperwork and use pencil. I like to have a full pencil eraser and not a small eraser like the pentel pencils have. You know what I mean. I’m on my second set. I don’t lose my pencils, but these just don’t hold up for long. Not the smoothest action. I do like the solid metal build, but not very smooth. The lead that came with it is a harder lead so I bought some that is softer. I like a thicker lead so use .9 and there aren’t many mechanical options with full size eraser. This one works for me but wish it was better quality and lasted better. One thing I don’t like is you can only have one piece of lead in the pencil. The tube is very thin and a second lead jams.

Quite a remarkable value. Old school perhaps, but a mechanical pencil on quality paper never loses its appeal. For my individual writing/drawing style, hand position and pencil pressure, this pencil is superb. Also, being realistic, mechanical pencils seeing heavy usage get dropped, knocked off tables, etc, so the excellent value enables me to use them in any location without considering a high replacement cost if that happens. And having knocked the pencil to the floor, while the tip is the vulnerable point, so far, the pencils have weathered the impact. In one case, I did disassemble the pencil as a broken piece of lead was caught in the delivery sleeve, but that was easily fixed. Will add that pencil is machined well--all the threadings are silky smooth and high precision.

I’m very happy with this set. The pencils are great. They feel high quality and they work great. The eraser is a little prone to pop out of the end of the pencils perhaps. That would be my only criticism. Overall great quality and value, do recommend!

I've owned a number of mechanical pencils over the years, all types and many brands from cheap to higher end. These are such an incredible value for the quality and feel that I can't see a reason to buy any other option.
