Well designed at an affordable price
Having had ceramic knives in the past I was always impressed with their sharpness and ease of cleaning. This knife set did not disappoint. The well thought out stand is attractive and functional. There is a size of knife for most purposes from 6" for meat prep to 3" for fruit knife. It is essential when using any ceramic blade to remember to cut straight down and avoid using hard prep surfaces or a twisting, sideways, movement as the ceramic is not as forgiving to lateral stresses as steel. Having said that I would always have a set of these in my kitchen as there is so little effort required to cut with them compared to my steel knives and they seem to never need sharpening. Perfect for cutting soft fruit, tomato or sushi rolls without squishing the food as the blades are so sharp. Clean immediately after use to ensure they go back in their protective stand as soon as possible. Never leave them hidden below the water in the washing up bowl or lying around on surfaces; for the sake of your fingers and the long life of the blade.

Really sharp
I love these knives because they are very strong use the down side is that if you misuse them then you will break the blade. You must remember that the blades are made from ceramic materials. I would recommend these knives

Great every day kitchen knives that remain sharp.
These ceramic knives get used as our main everyday general purpose kitchen knives, they are the first knives all five of us reach for to use and abuse on a daily basis as they are light in the hand and remain very sharp without any need for sharpening or honing. They are not as sturdy as our German Henkel knives or as scary sharp as our Japanese Santoku and gyuto knives, all of which require regular sharpening, honing and occasional re profiling. The joy of these ceramic knives is they are cheap enough to throw away if damaged, such as getting a chipped edge or a loose handle due to being regularly dropped and generally abused on a daily basis. When the first of your ceramic knives needs thrown away, I suggest you buy a complete new set and put them aside to provide individual replacements as and when required. It’s a lot cheaper and easier than buying all the sharpening kit you need to sharpen and hone metal bladed knives.

Perfect
Just what I needed. I only had one ceramic knife before this purchase, I'm very glad I decided to buy some more. The box they arrived in was very stylish and a nice surprise. All the knives are very sharp and I will definitely get a lot of use from them. It's great when you place an order and the items exceed expectations. Can't believe the price was so low, I will make use of the peeler but I already own a pretty useful one. If you are thinking of buying ceramic knives, then go for it with this set, you will not be disappointed.

Good blades poorly fixed into shoddy handles
The handles are moulded white plastic with a sprayed on black tactile finish which begins to peel within six months of light domestic use, the blades are shoddily fixed into the handles with an adhesive which fails within six months of light domestic use.Not fit for purpose, I want a warranty return!

Good knives but….
I do Love these knives but wish they could be made a bit better.I’ve brought 3 sets now because they are so sharp and cut through things like butter, especially onions, tomatoes, boneless meat.BUT one set all the blades came out of the handles , one of them while I was cutting and did cut my hand. They do verge on the end of dangerous if this happens but I do put that aside and take the risk because they cut so well. Being ceramic they are like glass, so be warned they do chip and break easily if dropped. Or if you use them for something way too hard.Looks wise They have a very cool and sleek design.Alway complimented on them. But they never look prefect for long as one or two out of the bunch with always break and or chip.So often have to be replaced.I suppose I’ve brought 3 sets is the space of 2 years and tempted to buy another very soon. As a lot are damaged.I do put these issues aside though because overall they are the sharpest and most functional knives I’ve ever had and I suppose £16.99 for a set that work so well is not to much of an issue if you have to replace twice in 1-2 years. So value for money is not to bad.I will still continue to buy ,but please please improve the handle design where the blade attaches as this can become loose and fall out which is a health hazard. This happened to about 3 knives is one set but other set only happened to one and the other none of them this happened to , so may be some flaw somewhere.

REALLY SHARP
Love the stand which you can arrange knives to your choice. The knives and peeler are sturdy and set in lovely colour variety. I wanted super sharp bought my friend a set too. We both were impressed with sharpness. Cutting meat, loaves, cakes etc all perfect. Everything i have used mine for were just brilliant! Perfect for adults only use because sharpness is what i would term as lethal. Brilliant in safe hands, but while it didnt even hurt i suffered a badly cut finger as I cut some meat and knife went through it like butter - going thru unexpectedly easily ton of slip on cutting board and nick my finger! - i would descibe myself as very safety conscious, but they sure do need respect -hence why i dont recommend children accessing them. I am really pleased with them. We both found the peeler to be rather awkward - but realised blade needed adjusting to getbright balance of blade to fruit etc. If you want razor sharp then these are recommended.
