I've had mine for several months now and this little machine is really amazing. I've had to wear a night guard for years now and it has greatly helped in combatting the grinding of my teeth while I sleep.But...even though I rinse it first thing each morning, it always looked dingy and dirty and it was kind of yucky to use it each night, even though I knew I had cleaned it.I usually run my dental pod cleaner usually every other day and I run it anywhere from 1 - 3 cycles, depending on the daily color of my night guard. The very first time I used it, I did one cycle with the guard right side up and then one cycle with right side down and the gunk that came off of it was shocking. Because this particular night guard was, and is, over 2 years old, it had accumulated a lot of buildup that my daily rinsing did not remove.It took about a week and a half of daily using 2 cycles before I could actually see the amazing results because the guard was that old. It was worth it! I sleep better knowing the pod is getting that gunk off of it.

Bought this last December and it has now stopped vibrating completely. It’s sad nothing is ever built to last anymore. For this price, it should last me AT LEAST 5 years! Didn’t make it one year! I would love to find out how to contact the company for a refund or a brand new one.Also never really gets it truly clean, still have to take a soft toothbrush to scrub it

Before getting this pod my liners would be cloudy and get an undesirable taste/odor. That does not happen any more! There are much cheaper pods available but this one looks nice on my bathroom vanity counter so I splurged - after all I use it everyday so there is no hiding it. Functionally, it works really well. I use cleaning tabs but find I really do not need a whole tab every day so I break them in half (cost savings!). The only drawback is the warning not to get any water where the AC adapter plugs into the unit. So need to be careful daily when adding water to the unit, when pouring out the used solution, and when rinsing the inside of unit. I just always make sure I am handling the pod from the plug end, and keep that end tilted up so water never touches that end of the outside of the pod. After rinsing, I do a quick wipe to dry the inside and place back on my counter. I straddle my Invisiliner on the edge of the pod so it can thoroughly air dry, and place the pod lid off center so it can dry (I rinsed the inside of the lid too), and the inside of the pod is still getting air to completely dry as well.

Love this pod. Prior I was cleaning my Invisalign with a tooth brush, bowl and dish soap as directed but it was so messy and took a lot of time. Now I just pop my trays in the pod (and usually only use water) and their done. Also, it stopped working after a year or so and I reached out and they shipped me a new one immediately with little hassle.

**update 1/2/24.The company reached out to me and provided a replacement. Apparently the unit I got was a lemon.The new unit works as intended. They promptly replaced it.The pod does pretty well cleaning, although I can’t say I’ve tried other ultra sonic pods. Just used to use cleaning tabs. I will continue to use the product and am happy with it. I notice the difference in my occlusive guards.Reading the positive reviews I decided to purchase this. I received the unit, read the instructions. Powered it on…. And it turns off after running for 2 seconds…. Does not work at all, unless you consider it an over priced paperweight.Thankfully Amazon made it right and refunded and offered a return.

I got this for easy daily cleaning of my Invisalign trays. I have tried the machine with just water, retainer cleaning tables and the cleaning crystals that come with the Invisalign and when I look at the trays up close, they still have debris on them. I don't eat with my trays in so they are not difficult to clean. I find more utility in simply brushing them because this machine does absolutely nothing. The on/off button is extremely sensitive making it difficult to leave it plugged in on the bathroom counter. I cannot comment much on how loud the machine is since I don't have a comparison but the noise isn't extremely loud. Too late to return but will not be using it any longer.

Second update: I’m changing this review to 5 stars since the unit has been working daily for more than a month and my mouthguard looks much cleaner than before. I probably should have been using one of these when I first got the mouthguard a few years ago.Updated review: I ordered a second one of these under the assumption that the first one was a lemon. The second one ran successfully for its 5-minute cycle. I am happy to have something to clean my mouth guard with since it gets pretty nasty after years of daily use.Also, the vendor reached out to me to let me know that my problem with the first unit was due to a faulty power cord. They offered to replace the cord and I am happy with the customer service. Ultimately, I’ll be happy if the unit keeps working and if my mouth guard stays clean.Original review: The unit looks good but right out of the box mine doesn’t work. It starts up but then shuts off after a couple of seconds with an audible click. It’s too bad because I was looking forward to finally getting my mouthguard sparkling clean!
