Superb - saved a radiator replacement
Had an old radiator that I've been unable to bleed, due to a siezed bleed valve. Didn't want to risk applying too much pressure to the key incase it broke. This product saved the day! Took about 30 seconds to drill through the metal of the radiator, then bit and sealed - there was a small amount of time where water came out (less than a second), but if you turn off the radiator valves before drilling, you can minimise this. There was some slight leaking when I tested it, but i tightened it up a bit by hand, and it's been fine ever since. Would definitely recommend and use these again - cheaper, quicker, and far easier than replacing the radiator with a new one!

It is indeed genius
I had a radiator that was cold but the bleed nut had snapped off so the air couldn't be removed. I screwed this self-drilling bleed screw with an electric screwdriver following the instructions and it worked like a charm. You need to be careful not to slip or over tighten, and also make sure the hole is drilled straight but the rubber seal seems to be working and the radiator is too hot to touch, brilliant. Watch the video instructions and it's very easy, the whole job took five minutes.

No more cold nights. Fantastic
Absolutely fantastic. Because house is old and original connecting pipes are tightly fit. I didn't want to start tampering with trying to fit new radiators until necessary. This fix has now solved my problem of less heat upstairs. Excellent video to explain how to fit correctly. Works perfectly did first radiator. ran heating for a week and no issue. Have now done a second radiator and delighted with results. Ordered another pack as such a valuable peice of equipment to have.

Best invention ever!
The original part on the radiator that loosens to bleed the radiator warped. The only alternative was a new radiator until we discovered this! It was so easy to fit and works a treat! Does the job and have saved us having to buy a new radiator. Very pleased with this purchase.

Product Failed
The plumber fitted this easi bleed to our radiator and it held for about 49 minutes once heating was on. The product metal then failed and we had water everywhere in the bedroom necessitating an emergency visit from the heating engineer to stem the flow and isolate the radiator. We will now need a new radiator. The engineer said these were made of ‘monkey metal’ or pot metal which has a low melting point so no wonder it failed when the radiator was hot. This metal is used to make low cost castings. Very disappointed.

Arctic Hayes Easibleed rad vents
Well ... it was an emergency situ', and I was kinda wondering 50/50 success rate on tjis idea, and guess what? I was correct. One worked and now the radiator has been bled and is heating the room. The other did not work, I guess at least it is a temporary fix for on rad until I can get time to install new rads.

Simple / can recommend
Really easy to install. I turned off the central heating and drilled a small pilot hole first to prevent the self-tapping screw from slipping. I had the torque on my cordless drill set lowish to avoid stripping the hole when tapping the part into the radiator, which could cause it not to hold and potentially lead to leaks. You’ll need a socket attachment for your drill.

It didn't work, It wouldn't seal the hole when I drilled it directly as per instructions, so I had to buy a new radiator,
