Q: I have bt tv downstairs and want to be able to watch it in my bedroom. how do i go about it?

you will need marmitek powermid xl infrared senders. you connect the transmiter one to your bed room tv and the receiver one to your bt vision box. you will of course have to connect your bedroom tv to your down stairs bt vision box via hdmi cable. so when you go to bed to watch tv you have to take your bt vision remote control with you as this will now operate your bt vision box from upstairs via the infrared senders

Q: Can I use this to relay the infrared signal between my "smart" gas metre readings to my "smart" electricity metre for smart reporting?

The Powermid XL is designed specifically for AV devices. It could work, but there's is no way to know up front.

Q: Do I need tv to be connected to sky box for this to work or can I place one pyramid on sky box and one on tv?

This is ike a one-way pipe, one end is the transmitter, the other the receiver. Use a remote control to the transmitter, and the receiver transmits it to the tv or sky box. I have transmitter in my bedroom to control sky downstairs.

Q: Do these work with Bluetooth headphones

This device is not Bluetooth. It transmits the infrared signal from a remote control in one room to the infrared sender in another room allowing you to operate a device for example amplifier, sky box etc in another room which is normally controlled by a remote controller in the same room. It can also be used to control devices hidden in a cupboard, for example.
