DXZTOZ AGC500L articulating boroscope medium bendable 2 cameras
this is perfect to get out a throttle body red straw out from down all the way to my valve intakes into my pistons on an 04 colorado pick up, the worm head tilts to lead it down turns, it sees and photos out front or side camera perfect. adjustable lighting and focus, but i used bright light and normal focus. the straw looked big and very bright to my eyes and on photos and not sure, i tried a video but i didn't do it right, but im sure with better knowledge the video would have been awesome too. it is a no brainer right out of the box, has it's own micro sd card, own charge wire, just straight up top of the line with a bottom of the line price...and it looks like it won't come apart in a tight spot in the engine... be gentle with it...you must leave the unused part as straight as you can while the used part, i used abouty 17" only gets turned and the total off all bending has to be less than a full circle, i only used about little over than half a circle maybe. i used a clear vinyl tubing cut to 16" fort 16" to go down past the throttle body inlet to get near the red stick and then i snorkled the camera snake back in again and saw the red stick and then my tube finally apporaching close to the red stick and cranked up the vaccum shop vacc all linked from a 3" fat suction stub on the vaccum reduced down to the 1" od clear tubing that snaked into near the valves and in a few minutes it sucked out the nasty red straw stick out of my engine...a intake manifold dissassembly on a 20 year old truck would havce cost maybe thouseands.... this job cost me 150 or less bucks and done in less than an hour and the truck is perfect again...i even could havec inspected allmost all of my valves if i'd wanted to and my cylindeer, but i gave the thing away to a farmer with lots of tractors.......get this borescope please, very affordable and so professional.....do yourself a favor....

Very Impressed
Great scope in every way. I bought a 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara in over all good shape to use as little 4x4 for dual sport use. It has very reasonable miles on it. I discovered it was going thru a quart of oil every 200 miles with almost zero leaks. I thought I had been really screwed but hoped it was valve seals. I wanted to check the cylinder walls for excessive wear and scoring before doing anything. I looked at a lot of these scopes and settled on this one for a number of reasons. I liked the side camera. I found that this unit is so good it is not needed. These all have internal batteries which die over a period of years. This unit can be run off a USB-C phone charger or an emergency battery for recharging a phone. That means that as long as the electronics work, it is good to go. It comes in a very professional carrying case and special hooks and stuff to attach to the end of the camera. Excellent light brightness. Excellent video quality. Focal length is from around 3/4 inch to 100 ft or more. Over all picture quality is bright and crisp with great resolution. I could count the factory cross hatch marks on the cylinder walls. Flex Tip. Just over 180 degrees. I was able to look back at the bottoms of the valves. The flex function works very smoothly. The info I gained was worth the money I spent. I could see that I have no burnt valves, piston tops looked good with a thin layer of carbon from the oil and the cylinder walls are in new condition. I decided to try some AT-205 to see if it would soften the valve seals before having them replaced. If that worked, I know the rings are likely good. It did nothing for the first 300 miles. Suddenly after letting it set for a few days, and then starting to use it again, the oil on the dip stick seems to have almost completely stopped dropping. I calculate I am now up to at least 400 miles per quart if not a lot more. There is no more smoke at cold start up or after idling for 5 minutes and taking off in a hurry.

Works fantastic! Articulates very well and great clear color image.
Cool toy and works fantastic! Great clear color image. I dropped a tiny guide sleeve while servicing my Yamaha outboard's fuel injectors - couldn't find it on the floor after lots of searching. So, a tiny chance of ruining a $15000 outboard or buy this thing for $135 (it's actually cheaper as of this writing) and make sure it didn't fall into a cylinder? To me, a no brainer. The guide sleeve wasn't in there - but I put together my outboard and ran it without worry. And that's a good deal!

Aircraft
I bought this to update my old non steerable bluetooth linked 35$ scope. I like the two camera option, I like the steering, length of probe, size of probe and it appears to be decent quality, although I can see the probe getting beat up on the spark plug threads in time. I did return it. I returned it because my use is inspecting cylinder bores in aircraft engines, mainly valves and seats, cylinder walls, accessory case for gear wear, etc. The picture is just not very high resolution. It is the low resolution that got me back to looking for an upgrade. It is decent. Most folks would find it adequate but the pictures saved are very small, only in the kb range. When shopping I think you will find that most of these inexpensive scopes do NOT specify the actual camera/lense resolution, they just mention HD. Most just leave the actual camera resolution out of the product description and for a reason. My phone has a 48 megapixel camera! This spoils us. Most of these scopes have a 1 megapixel camera and the difference is significant, obviously. Some of these chinese scopes have 2 megapixel, but its still pretty grainey. They call it HD, but with our 4k TVs and the screens on our phones, its just doesn't compare. The "zoom" just spreads the pixels out. If you are trying to find an issue with a valve seat and need fine detail, this is marginal at best. SO, in shopping for higher resolution I am finding that there really is nothing out there yet much better for a reasonable price. Even the 800 to 1k$ scopes have similar resolution. You can bump it up a little by using one that you mount your iphone/ipad to, and using the snap shot option on your device, not the software of the scope, you can save a higher quality image......of a picture taken with a low quality camera. The expensive scopes are more durable, have 360 steering (which is a huge bonus) and are not the mass produced quality control pot luck found here. BUT they don't significantly improve resolution...yet. At least I have not found one. My 2 cents. This item has a decent picture, easy to use, two cameras and good lighting. Its cheap too. Maybe I should have kept it while I am still looking.

Challenging to navigate through pipes but is as claimed
Works perfectly for the length that it is and I wouldn't want it any longer as it's very difficult to navigate through plumbing despite the remote adjustable camera head. If you have a pipe with a passively large angled bend, works good, however, anything less the a 2-3" pvc pipe bend is too sharp of a bend and very difficult to impossible to navigate through. The cameras, camera lights, and the ability to adjust the angle are exactly as claimed with excellent detail. The display and recording ability also is spot on, reliable, and intuitive to use. As for the navigation through pipes, it could be that I have no experience navigating a camera through pipes, or not. I have other uses with it though where it will be very useful.

Perfect Borescope
Update CAO 22 Nov.: 4 Star RAISED back to 5 Stars. This product it 100% perfect. In addition to the previous one not being able to 'secure' views screen to handle, it had an unusual 'crick' in the cabling near the end of the scope on the articulating end. Attempting to carefully straighten it didn't seem to work well so it maintained a bent/crick in it. The new unit is perfect, no crick in the cable, fully articulates and snaps CLEANLY and securely onto handle. This Borescope is perfect - at the moment and the high res screen capture, the magnification capability and easy touch button interfaces are impeccable. I really, really like this product and for the current Black Friday price of $125.00, you literally can't beat this! In the military, just 20 years ago, these were no less than $10K and how to be powered by a 110V secondary power system. Now they're USB powered and completely wireless. Talk about advancement! Highly recommend this... This is an incredibly VERY nice inspection camera except for one fault; The monitor 'head' will not latch onto handle. The slip keyway works but the latch in the handle will not reach all the way 'up' and thus will not latch ONTO the monitor head. This is an extreme no-no because it'll fall off if handling it upside down. Had to initiate a return with Amazon. Hoping the next one won't have this issue. QUALITY wise, the way the camera works is a dream for under $200.00! The screen and resolution is absolutely stunning beautiful! Eager to get the replacement in my hands!!

Great product and excellent support
I purchased this 5ft model some about six months ago. I used it a couple times and it was absolutely amazing, easy to use and performs excellent. The zoom works perfect and really shows the finest details. Look around corners or to the side or use the split screen for both. Anyway, great product at what I think is a very low price for what you get. But wait!! I had a small problem and I’m not sure what the cause was, and it was six months after I purchased. I read the enclosed booklet and it said to email support for any problems. I really didn’t expect anything back, but I was wrong. The next day I had an email from Layla at DXZtoz asking for more details of my problem. In 3-4 days my problem was rectified by Layla with my 100% satisfaction. Layla is a valuable asset to this company and has proven that real customer service is alive and well, something you generally don’t get from a lot of other manufacturers. My congratulations to DXZtoz, well done!! William N.
