Power to the SATA
Comes in handy on modern PSUs with too few SATA power connectors

Very useful, but take care with power rating. Not a permanent solution.
I bought these to support a replacement graphics card in my Dell Optiplex 5090 which does not have a 6 pin graphics connection on its 250W PSU. I found them very useful for trying out the graphics card, but please be warned that the SATA connection is limited to 54 watts maximum, not the 75W the card requires. I initially ran the card using the Nvidia utility to limit the power to the card during testing, but I have now rearranged my PSU to support the card directly.

does what it needs to do
its difficult to get excited over a cable that's hidden inside a PC, but it works as it should :)

Connects the opposite way to how the name implies
The name is "6 Pin to SATA Power Cable", but it is actually "SATA Power Cable to 6 Pin". The opposite way to what I wanted. This was a very frustrating realization. Quality might be ok, I will never know, as I couldn't use it. But it loses points because I have now wasted my money!
