Poor Improvements To Previous Version
I have one of the previous version of this 45 ml injector (photo with 2 injectors). With this one, it appears as though they retrofitted it with a lock pin. This is something that was definitely needed since the previous version would just let the nozzle push out of the injector. This was especially frustrating when emptying excess plastisol into the hot beaker.The application of this change was done extremely poorly. Basically, they roughly cut notches into existing cylinder and put a screw into the nozzle, then filed the threads (also roughly) and soldered the tip to make it look more like a thought out pin. I have added blown up images showing threads that still remain on the "pin" and the rough cutting on the cylinder.The rough cylinder cutting that was done damaged the o-rings on the plunger (also blown up for detail) before the first use. At least there are 2 extra o-rings so I can replace the damaged one after I file/sand/buff the rough edges the manufacturer left.I have several molds and injectors (including a dual injector) from this manufacturer, but it seems like the quality control has really been lacking lately. Their molds used to always get 5 stars, but I have reviewed 3, in the last month, that had design or manufacturing flaws that reduced the ratings I had been giving them. I honestly hope they get back on the right track, because I used to think highly of their products.This retrofit modification should have been better thought out before implementing. When people get used to a certain quality of product, handing them something that is unprofessionally modified like this is disheartening at best.

Is not sold as listed
The media could not be loaded. Very disappointed that item does not include locking nozzle head as listed. Clearing remaining plastisol causes the nozzle device to become dislodged, creating mess and issues with high temperature product being exposed to surfaces and skin.
