Worked very well to secure a baby gate on a round newel post.

Exactly what we needed! Had to put a baby gate back up for the dog. For some reason my youngest kept knocking the whole thing over when opening it. Now it’s extra secure and no more worries of kiddo falling over with the gate. And the lab can’t get upstairs to find anyone’s candy stashes or other random non food items to eat.

Great for staircases

Would be much better if there was an option to wrap the railing. Otherwise it’s quite easy to push this through. You can DIY it with a drill and a strong zip-tie, but it looks… well. See for yourself. :)

I have a weird staircase but these seem to make the gate fit properly. Very helpful!

I was worried that these may not work as we don't have a traditional circular banister, nor can we change it (as we are renting). These still worked against our thin square metal banisters! It even made the gate more secure with these rather than using the traditional tension plates against the banister. It was super easy to install. Definitely worth it!

I liked how easy it was to put together. This gate was used at the top of my stair to keep my 15 month grandson from the temptation to crawl down. It absolutely did the job!
