Does the job, use for cross fit style workouts with kettlebells and barbells, and weight lifting, breaks up easily but useful for applying in smaller pieces. Sure there's better products but for this price it works fine.

Great chalk - comes in a large quantity, and provides very good grip. Better than the liquid chalk, in my opinion. Good value for money, and arrived quickly. Great for gymnasts wanting extra grip on apparatus!

Great for lifting weights in the gym

My use case is lifting weights. Positives. Cheap. Good quantity. Improvement on grip vs not using it.5/10. No irritation to the skin. Easy to wash off. However, liquid chalk is an 8 to 9 out of 10 improvement for me and my use case. You have to reapply this product quite a bit if doing set work. Of course bring a bag to hold the chalk as you break the chalk bar as required. Zero weight. It may be more suitable to climbing etc. I do keep it handy in my gym bag as back up as it takes up limited space and has zero weight, if for example my liquid chalk runs out or if lifting with a friend who gets skin irration from liquid chalk. Some commerical gyms are not a fan of this style of chalk FYI.

This is a great product. I've used powdered chalk before but the pre-powdered form, which I always found pretty messy to apply. There's 'liquid chalk' as an alternative but that's more expensive and also harder to get off your hands when you're done. This is the perfect middle ground for me. Its great value, easy to transport, and works well - I know all grip chalk is the same basic chemical compound (and this states it has no additives) but for whatever reason this feels 'grippier' to me than the loose power that I was using before. For the price this is a complete no-brainer to me, and I can't think why you'd want to spend more on another product, for weightlifting and gymnastic etc (where you have access to reapply and don't need the semi-permanence of liquid chalk) at least. I should add that unlike some purchasers, my block also arrived intact and undamaged, as pictured, despite amazon shipping it just in a soft (unpadded) paper envelope.

Nice chalk - gives loads of grip and is lasting me ages. Nice sized chunk, and not too crumbly. Maybe a little pricey for what it is, but you won't need to buy again regularly.
