Gardman Bamboo Slat Screening 2m x 4m

Good quality and and much improved a ugly fence.

This was pretty good value and, while I didn't spot (my mistake) that this was slats, it was ideal as slats for me. I used it to cover up an ugly wall (I've not finished work on what I'm doing yet) - I built a frame and pinned the slats to it. The slats are pretty easy to cut (I used secateurs) as the wall/garden is on a slope - but be aware that when you roll it out, it needs a little stretching to get to the full 4m width (my area just happens to be a shade over 4m). Had to pin each slat (top, middle, bottom - about 1000 nails) but they went on and while a few slats split, it's sturdy and is a huge improvement over what I had. Hopefully it'll stay in good condition, but for the price, it's exactly what I wanted.

This is great stuff for screening. Husband and I have just put this up today.(we both have arthritis, it was not hard to lift together and once unrolled feels fairly light). Bought two lots to cover rear side part of garden which is adjacent to wild land loads of trees. Too many tree roots to have a proper fence. Have small wall there 4 foot high, not safe these days anyone can hop over (neighbours had burglary last year scary). For past couple of years or so had temporary commercial type metal strong fencing around 7 foot high on this part (and proper wooden 6 foot high fencing around rest of the garden). This metal fencing stands in concrete 'feet'. But lacking privacy anyone can peer through and about 3 months ago saw man standing over 10 mins peering through dressed in dark clothing and hoody covering face, looked like sizing things up! Growing a hedge along that side but very slow growing will take years. Saw this bamboo fencing thought just the thing for a few years until hedge grows tall to add another layer on top of the metal fencing until hedge grows. Husband and I put it the bamboo (we got it end of May) up today took around 1 1/2-2 hours for both lots, we used cable ties to fasten it to the above metal fencing and it is standing on the concrete 'feet' which have proved to be a good base for the bamboo. We were very pleased brightened up a dark part of the garden no end, and is a nice colour pale beige. Would look nice as a backdrop for garden seat or summer house or some other feature. Very versatile stuff.

Purchased some screen last year but could not get any more from that supplier. Was a bit concerned whether this would match existing but needn't have been. If anything the quality of this is better than what I had previously, it makes a great feature and freshens up the whole garden, much better than looking at solid fence. When the Clematis spreads across the expanse then it will look better again.

not the best, some broken and big gaps between them, but easy to put up

Hard to put up On your own but did the job, i ordered another as i liked it so much. The second one was easier to put up, where i live its very windy and so far they are still standing strong. I do think they are worth the money, i get alot more privacy. And they look clean and tidy, blending well with the garden, pulling it all together.

purchased this screening because it looked sturdy and it is. price was reasonable, delivery was quick , the only issue we had was something on the outer packaging made our hands very itchy when we took delivery like itching powder....stopped when hands were washed

I love privacy and in the veranda of my house my neighbors have a view of everything, so I thought it was better to put this beautiful bamboo fence, because in addition to devilver my privacy still decorates the house with the charm of bamboo. recommend it and will buy again.

Der Versand ging sehr schnell. Bambus wurde in einer praktischen Tragetasche geliefert. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Haben ihn schon einige Wochen stehen trotz Witterung, sieht er aus wie neu!

Schnelle Lieferung, leicht zu montieren, kein wirklicher Sichtschutz, da die Halme zu weit auseinander sind, aber das wussten wir. Wir nehmen es nur als Begrenzung für unseren Gartenteil, da es schöner aussieht als der Metallzaun.

Schöne Matte, gut verpackt geliefert, Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Allerdings nicht geeignet wenn totaler Sichtschutz gewünscht wird, da der Abstand zwischen den einzelnen Bambusstäben zu groß ist.

Produkt wurde wie beschrieben geliefert. Ist ein schöner Sichtschutz für unsere Terrasse. Da die Bambusstreifen im Abstand von ca. 30 cm miteinander verbunden sind, hält der Sichtschutz auch starken Wind aus.

Nicht das Gelbe vom Ei, aber für meine Zwecke (Anbringung direkt an eine Balkonhauswand) durchaus gut geeignet. Als Sichtschutz wahrscheinlich eher nicht die beste Lösung.
