It was a gift for someone I love , I hope he liked it ,this book is great if you can understand Spanish and I do recommend it

This is an excellent short book, especially for someone who is proficient, but not yet completely fluent, at Spanish. The language used is relatively simple, with grammatical structures that should be understandable to most intermediate or higher level readers of Spanish. Some vocabulary will probably be unknown to you, so as with all foreign language books, have a dictionary or online translator handy. The story is very thought-provoking, dealing with topics like purpose of life, self-discovery, and love. Overall, a charming novel that made for good Spanish practice.

Entretenida y llena de conceptos vitales. Recomendable para poner nombre a detalles del día a día. Interesante la vida del desierto.

Probably if you are looking in to this book you know what you are going to get,read it before or have heard of it and what it is about. All I can add after reading it myself is - greatly written stuff. If you enjoy inspirational stories,going through challenges in your life and trying your best to find your happines and follow your dreams,your goals - Plus - are learning or trying to improve Spanish - this is a perfect mix. Great stuff to read to improve and take language learning to the next level. Would recommend to read it in your native language first,or to have a good base of Spanish before attempting this one.(maybe A2-B1?) Go through a few pages on the book page on amazon and see if you understand 60-70%. If yes - go for it! :)Great book,had a good time whilst studying. Dont be discoraged if you dont understand a word here or there,there are some terms used that are applicable to those older times that are described in the book.Highly recommend this one in any language to be honest.

It resembles the time when I left my home town, long time ago. I think it is a great story.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for someone and I have to say, the book is beautiful. It looks and feels like the type of book you want to show off on your bookcase, and it was very well received. As for the content, I've read this book and can vouch that it's an essential but easily digestable read that will make you pause and reflect on your life and where it's headed.

I believe that is a great history...for teenage people (bachelors, universitaires...) whom still are seeking for their path to follow and have not been introduced yet to the way occidental society works.Really enjoyed it, and also got good conclusions from his points. It is just that maybe I could take more advantage on it with 20 years rather than now.
