Used this to update our GL 450 Mercedes-Benz! Great add-on item and a simple solution to adding Bluetooth Music from any device! Works well and picks up from where your music left off from your phone!

So I will try to be as specific as possible about what vehicle this worked in as I hope it helps people make the right choice.This worked in a 2012 (MY2011/Pre-Facelift) GLK350 4matic. The entertainment system is an NTG4 / Audio 20 with the Navigation 20 upgrade. The Nav20 is supposed to give a bluetooth option (which shows up on my phone with a device name of UMI) but it doesnt maintain a connection. The Nav20 does also add a 30pin ipod connector which is what I used to connect this adapter.I did not need to use the cable that came with the adapter as my vehicle doesnt have the UMI connector. I suspect the UMI slot is occupied by the Nav20 box attached in the glove compartment.Now there is limited functionality as you cannot control the track or use any steering wheel control but I suspect that could be that I am connecting to it with an Android rather than iPhone. The screen also reads "Error" but the audio works so I just switch to the Trip screen or something else.Overall it worked as expected, it automatically connects to my phone for audio when in the car. No issue and havent needed to open the glove box since installing and I have rated it as such. My unit reads as i-link on my phone and the instructions worked great.

The product that I received was not as advertised. It looks like it cost about 5cents to make. It was not labeled. The pathetic instructions said it is not for cars early than 2009 and the ML was not compatible, which is not what the ad says. Scam product at best, not even labeled the same.

I have a 2010 MB ML350 (W164), and have tried every "COMAND-compatible" adapter on the market. Tried Bovee tune2air 1000, the CoolStream CarPro BTR104, CHOOCL 3000A, MBENZstream2air. Every single one of them caused audio dropouts on the onboard handsfree Bluetooth. It made phone calls impossible, couldn't even talk to Siri. This HAIN adapter, at a fraction of the cost of the others, works just fine. Sure, you lose the COMAND integration, but smart phones can do all that nowadays anyway. Buy this module, and use the money you save to buy a nice dash-mount system for your phone.

If you follow the instructions that comes with it. You will be able to use it. I was skeptical but I'm glad I tried it.

Wel don’t like this produckt. It sayed it wuld fit .but got it an littl paper sayed it don’t fit it . So jus lettin ya folcs no befur ya bye it. Junk

Works great in my 2011 Merc. E350. It plugs in and then you simply select the aux. feature in the media center. Sound quality is good and it looks oe in the car.

Plugged into the MMI port in the glove box. Connected with Bluetooth on android phone. Changed to AUX input. Streaming music played over the vehicles speakers. Decent sound quality. Tried with streaming TV apps as well and sound is in sync with the video. Very satisfied. Good value for the price.

I ordered this for my 2008 facelift B-Class as it had the Multimedia Interface installed already. It plugs into the port at the back of the glove box and works perfectly streaming audio from my phone via the AUX input on the head unit. However, when i take a call now over the inbuilt telephone bluetooth in the car, it cuts the calls out. Everyone says they can hear me but i can't hear them. It works on and off. If I disable this device in my phone bluetooth settings, the calls work perfectly. I cant see how they would interfere but they do.

It's just the first day, but it works. It fit into the port in the glove compartment and connected right away and sounds fine, so I am happy. The instructions say you have to enter a code on your phone, but that doesn't seem to be the case.I will update if the functioning changes. It only works with its own 30 pin male cord, and not the cord that was already in the car. At first I thought there might be a problem with it staying on once I turned the car off and it then depleting the battery, as it appears to still be on when you turn the car off, but it did seem to go off not too long after that. And this unit costs less than half of some of its competitors, so for now I am happy.

In the picture the connecter on top is the one from this company and the connecter on the bottom is another company is connector. It was an absolute pain to connect the actual Bluetooth module to the connector. The connecter wasn’t secured to the housing so when you try plugging in the Bluetooth module the connecter would disappear back into the housing.I would have returned this but I was going on a road trip and this is the only way to get my phone music onto my car. Other than the physical defect/poor quality the unit does work great and works as it is intended to work. The instructions are typical China instructions and could use some polishing up

I read every word of the ad. When the device arrived I read the instruction book and in there it is made clear this is not compatible with my car. If the ad read the same I would not have ordered it.

This product works great on my 2012 Mercedes Benz GL350. It's much cheaper and better than the "Bovee" brand which I did buy and returned after one day using.
