Works Great, Good fit for support
Works great, I’ve never needed to wear a hernia belt before. This does give me support. I’m waiting for surgery and it helps with pain and keeping things where they need to be. It’s universal can be used for left or right side. Im about a 34 inch waist. Have lot of extra belt so it should be good for larger guys too. Very easy to adjust just need to slide the belt for the lower attachment to the left or right. It’s all Velcro so easy to attach. I’m hoping I’m only going to need it for about 8 weeks. It’s strong enough to stand up for a lot longer. It does stretch woth you as you move, I’ve tried it under my underwear and over. I prefer over it seams a little more comfortable.

Nice firm cushion holds hernia in check
Nice hernia belt. Does what its supposed to while I await hernia surgery in 1.5 months. It keeps a small cushion firmly placed where the inguinal hernia is (in my case left side), it alleviates pain and/or the prospect of hernia getting worse. I'm pretty active and this seems to work perfectly to keep everything "in check" as I frequently need to bend over or crouch down to pick up my 3 small dogs (9-15 lbs), go on walks, or ride the exercise bike. I'm not doing weight lifting or playing golf with it (that can wait for post op after recovery), but life is more manageable again. FYI I'm 6ft 205 lbs male and the small/medium fits great as you'll want it to be tight. Velcro holds nicely. Had to buy some boxer briefs to help with that strap around the leg, which I'd say is optional. If youre experiencing an inguinal hernia and waiting for surgery, you'll wish you had this, this is a life saver. Not sure why my doctor didn't recommend one but glad I found it on Amazon. Edit after surgery: After hernia surgery, you will not need this belt anymore, which is fine, bc you'll be on the road to recovery. I'm on week 5 post op and here's some tips to get thru it. Days 1-3 are the worst, bending over is an absolute nightmare, so if something drops on floor (like even a sock, etc) I'd recommend having a grabber tool handy, you can get one for $9 on Amazon. Also learn from me bc I had a setback at week 4, I was hunched over to clip my toenails and my lower back went out. Its because they cut thru the deep core abdominal muscles to do the surgery. So just watch out with leaning and bending over. Its technically called acute lumbar back spasm and its excruciating. I'm still healing from the lower back now at week 5. So watch out and use that grabber tool to grab things down low. Raise your foot up to a bench or chair to put shoes on etc. Docs didn't warn me about this but I am. I was healthy/athletic b4 this and meant nothing. Good luck people. You can do this.

Face it, you aren't buying it as a fashion statement
First if you are reading this either you or someone you know has an inguinal hernia (or something else) and you are making the purchase to make you more comfortable. The belt works fine, it holds pressure for me anyway at the point I need it as I cannot have scope surgery due to prostate Cx so it would require more down time ( i don't know how it could be more) so no surgery for me at this time. Photo's: from left first, third and forth shows the "reinforced" strip to prevent rollover. it works but does develop a kink which causes a oil can effect( for those of you too young to know what that is old-timer oil cans were fil push from the bottom and it would click) Also you will see cotton pulls, I think this is a combination of the clothes fabric and the belt fabric rubbing but could also be a result of next item that Velcro strap, first it sticks to anything. If you see in photo #6 I actually re-attach it to the area where it fastens. They show in the instructions that the strap is going seemingly between the crevice? I did not try as I am not a fan of flossing my ass. I originally tried the strap in the position you see in the photo, it's Velcroed and holds the strap. then I tried to move the strap so it would be more centered. Not only was in more uncomfortable but without it being held by the belt it travels slightly at times and more at others and then you get strap ass. So I put the strap back to where it can attach to the belt and therefore also providing me with a place to secure the strap for removal. You have to negotiate the strap on the hernia side of the boys( sorry women can't help you) and when you do first make sure it's snug, sadly the attaching point although looks sewed well is straight and has no anchor to prevent it from going horizontal yo vertical. This doesn't effect the belt too much while wearing it the only thing you want to make sure of also is that when you run the strap under and through the attaching point make sure to attach the Velcro strap to itself completely and not to your underwear or just half on the strap as the Velcro will find a way to rub an area that wherever it may be you don't really want to be pulling on the area this day and age anywhere where you can be seen or a camera placed as who knows what's someone's interpretation of your crotch maneuvering means to them as they present it to HR, your spouse, co-workers, neighbors etc. you get the idea. if you have the ability or access to someone who sews or a tailor you may want to have the connecting point reinforced at the corners( sewn to each side) so it stays in place and to the manufacturer , I understand this is a bi-directional belt and perhaps you cannot dart the loop until you know what side? Then install two loops going at both diagonal positions and then everyone is more comfortable. Function: It works well, i am not uncomfortable wearing it. It does supply a lot of elastic band pressure around your hips, it cannot ride waist or below as it would not protect the area. Besides the "pillow" it comes with to push back the hernia it also has a pocket I would imagine to increase the pressure on the hernia or maybe body size and shape. They do not supply you with anything but you can fold even a paper towel to get more depth but it is not necessary for my problem. I am retired/disabled with a lot of pain problems etc. I believe my hernia was caused by opioid induced constipation and the desire to go and push. I have not and I would not use the belt while using a seated restroom without removing it, you don't want to be lazy and you probably don't carry a spare. Just advice: If you have a right inguinal hernia and have to use the seat I make sure that for me my left hand stays pressed against the hernia area does prevent it 90% of the time from moving. I do not review items often as I hate to purchase something and the next day they ask how I liked it, how do I know.. Give me time to use it. I purchased these belts on April 3 2021 from Amazon. I purchased the first one about 7-10 days earlier from Everyday Medical direct as the wait/shipping time was indicating sooner and I wanted it sooner so you are looking at about a months wear. Some of my issues that made me purchase the item of course the hernia itself but when I stand in one place as in doing dishes it would be rather uncomfortable and the same would happen while walking, using stairs especially upstairs. I wish everyone good luck with your hernia, the pandemic, and all of the other things to look forward to. If you attach the strap as I do make sure have garments that will go down your leg as Velcro rubbing not so good. I also bought the beige , I don’t know why! I am not matching garments. Maybe it will be the style

Works great
Bought this to help with a left side hernia. The belt is strong and comfortable and supports the muscles very well. I can continue with my normal daily activities without as much pain.

Använt en produkt tidigare som jag fick på sjukhus, men denna är mycket bättre eftersom den inte sticker ut allt för mycket. Använder den på gymmet främst när jag lyfter tungt.

Works great. Without it I could only stand for 5.10 minutes without pain. Wearing it, I could stand for hours. Standing in one place appeared to be the most painful.

Alles in Allem sehr empfehlenswert.
