I have been using cups such as these but in smaller form for keeping my pouring paint mixes from drying out. These larger size (from 2 oz to 4oz) really are helpful in doing the same in a larger amount which has come in handy when interrupted during a project such as company dropping by in the middle of mixing paints. These also offer a bigger portion of any dipping sauces I make and freeze. No more expensive pre made guacamole. Just don't microwave these, let your sauce sit and defrost or remove from this cup into a microwave safe container. They are air tight, the lid has a distinct snap letting user know when secured properly. I have had no leaks and have had some paints lasts for 2 months without drying out. I love the variety of sizes available, and these 4 oz cups are my go to now.

I sell rare tropical plants. I start them out as seeds. I use these to ship them like a humidity dome. I planted in the bottom one and then put the cup upside down and put it on top as a dome. Works perfect for this. Super sturdy would definitely work for what they're actually intended for
