Skeleton pocket watch

This is such a beautiful watch! The pictures don't really do it justice. (I got the round silver version.) I purchased this watch because I don't like wristwatches. It's a little difficult to read because of all the mechanics but it is definitely a work of art! This would make a great gift, especially for anyone who's into Steampunk. Highly recommended! (Edit) The only negative thing I will say about the watch is that it does not come with an instruction manual (or at least mine didn't). It is a mechanical watch so it must be wound but there's no indication of how often to wind it. It has stopped working for me a couple times but I just had to rewind it and all was good. So now I wind it to its maximum every few hours just to be sure. (Once it reaches the maximum amount of winding, you won't be able to wind it further.) But it would be nice to know how often to wind it. Also, pull up on the winder to set the time, then push it back down to wind it. Other than that, it is an amazing watch and work of art!

Pro’s: Very nice watch. I’m impressed with the quality, in consideration of the low cost. Winding the watch, and pulling the stem to set the time, provided a crisp, positive, feel. Of the short time that I’ve had this watch, it has kept very good time. Con’s: As per the title, I got the round silver model. To me, it was the most attractive of the various options available. Unfortunately, I find it difficult to read the hands and face of this particular style watch. Although with adequate lighting, it’s a little easier to read. Brighter hands and hour markers would be a great upgrade to this watch. In consideration of the low price point, and the exceptional reliability over the short time that I’ve had this watch, I feel that it’s an excellent value.

Quite an amazing looking little time price for the price. Beautiful finish, lovely workings visible inside. Just wish they'd use the real roman numeral for four (IV).

I bought this for myself as an interesting little knick-knack. I'm thoroughly impressed so far. Seems accurate, beautiful ticking noise, easy to set. Gears can be watched through the glass, which is beautiful to see. One gear oscillates very visibly constantly. Readability isn't terrific, but you should probably expect that just from looking at the pictures, since this watch is partly about displaying the beauty and harmony of the internal workings, and you can definitely read it just fine when you have to; at least I can. Feels of a much sturdier build than you'd expect for $22.00. If you want it for *yourself* as a cheap nice thing to come in your Amazon mail to cheer you up -- like I did -- then I'd recommend just buying it. You probably won't regret it for the price. I can think of numerous people who would very much enjoy this watch, even if they don't take it with them daily.

Broken twice. First one the time setting broke and did not work The second watch the hands fell off while I was reading it. How does that happen. Bad quality

Keepsake, love it

It feels good and excellent build quality. Good movement. Case is very shiny and polished. I loved the tikking sound it makes.

It's pretty nice and we'll made, but I wish it was bigger. It's marginally smaller than common sizes and feels too little on your hand, but looks magnificent and classy.

Very nice. Keeps time accurately. But needs to be wound each day or will die at some point past the second day.
