Apparently there are different models. I bought (Chef Knife, AUGYMER 8 Inch Professional Chefs Knife High Carbon Stainless Steel Kitchen Sharp Chefs Knife (AU7CG03)) fully thinking a fake damascus one was going to show up. What showed up was a blank one which is a surprise and okay as it probably works and looks better than fake mechanically stamped or laser etched damascus.I also did not get a blade cover but got a decent little box. Yes, it will stay on a magnetic strip as well if you have one.Check reviews, and check the item number first so you know what you are getting. Decent little knife it looks like goes well with my other wood handled work horses.

OMG so sharp! I can cut anything so easy& clean, but a little touch I cut myself, so please be careful to handle this knife. I cannot believe this price & works excellent .

The Augymer 8 inch Chef knife has proven to be a quality chef knife. Although the AUGYMER Chef knife doesn't hold an edge very well. I've decided to stick to my Shun Premier line of cutlery. A very expensive knife but like they say you get what you pay for.

A very handy and clean cut knife, honestly its probably one of the best ones out there at this price, whether it's the frozen beef I wasn't patient to thaw out or some of the onions that went with it, precise and most importantly, lightweight. Must buy for people who are picky with their quality or general people who likes to have great quality kitchen sets.

I don't have a lot of experience with knives, but I can definitely tell the difference between this chef's knife and my other chef's knife that came in a set. This knife is SHARP, so be careful with it.

For the price I don't think you can possible get a better knife. Obviously there are better knives out there, but this one is pretty solid for the budget buyer.
