The only problem I had was registering the product.
This review is for the Waterdrop WD-PT-07B.The pitcher is an attractive baby blue. The photo to my eyes looked a bit more aqua blue. It is semi-transparent but not enough to really see through the top. The materials feel good. The size of the pitcher is much bigger than my OXO alkaline water pitcher, which was too small for my taste but it's fine. This jug holds enough water to last me about 2 days before refilling, OR I just refill it each time I take it out. It also comes with a little timer button to let you know when it's time to change filters - I assume it will base it on time like 3 months from now? There is a nifty little spring port at the top so you won't have to remove and replace the lid of this pitcher each time you fill it up. You can set the jug in the sink and turn the water on. The spring hinged top port is big enough not to cause issue: roughtly 2" by 1.5". The spring is loose enough that the pressure from your spicket should keep the aperture depressed while it fills, you still have to turn your water off if you don't want it to overflow. (Someone probably wouldn't figure that out if I do not tell them.) I truly enjoy this novel idea BUT if the spring fails it might be more of a problem than a solution - good idea nevertheless.I was sold on this pitcher because of the 7 sediment filtration system and the partial filtering of fluoride, something Brita filters do not claim to do that this one CLAIMS to do. I haven't done any scientific research to see if it does it's job at all because unless you take your water to a specialist, none of the test on Amazon seem to be legit testers. The technology of this filter is generally what is found in higher priced systems, be it at a much smaller degree.I done a blind taste test with my mom and she knew right away which was filtered and which wasn't. I used the same style glass, same water level, same temperature. She didn't have to do a repeat, she pointed right away the correct choice. She said easy decision. Her taste buds are better than mine but I agreed with her that I thought I could tell a difference too. The city water had a chemical aftertaste to me, this one I couldn't get much aftertaste at all. So, as far as flavor it is filtering out something because the taste is better than bottled water IMO.The only negatives I see with this filter are:The filter a lot of times does get very slow filtering - almost coming to a complete hault. I try to leave the pitcher out until it is finished. It seems to have a tougher time filtering cold water than room temp water. This could be a good thing as it is slowing the water down to a standstill, therefore in my imagination I am assuming it must be cleaning it. It is good it has 2 drains, as often one gets jammed but the other continues flowing water through. I haven't had a filter take more than 5 minutes but it may slow down with age?The great idea of the spring could be a cause of concern if it stopped springing back up. I genuinely applaud the effort and I hope it holds up. If it holds up this is one of the best ideas ever. Very useful concept and so far works flawlessly. I would advise not to play with it too much and don't let your kids break it.The registration was a pain. Their website does not list this model. So expect to have to speak with the customer service and correspond through your email address. The rep said this has been a problem they are trying to fix. Mia was very kind even though I was getting impatient. I spent 4 days trying to register this. In the end, I tried to put in Pitcher Filtration System and then all straightforward information since the model number is not listed. The website would not accept Pitcher Filtration System - it flagged it. So I had to send Mia a screenshot and she said she got my information in. This took 4 days and I'll spare you the back and forth. I hope you know what to do if you buy this filter. On a good note, the registration gives 2 year warranty and a free filter. So it was a nice addition that kind of backfired. But since Mia was so polite and kind, I cannot fault the pitcher for this and anyone looking for a good pitcher should realize this seems like an excellent bargain for an excellent product. I don't want to confuse people with lower ratings simply based on a failed attempt to provide excellent customer service that intertwined with it a simple human error.Thank you Waterdrop! I like this filter and appreciate the free filter (if I get it). I wasn't expecting one so if I get it, a great gift!

Value and easy to use
I like the ease of making my own alkaline water. The pitcher fits nicely on my counter, and it would fit in my refrigerator well too. It was easy to ready the filter for first time usage. The taste is good. If you have never drank alkaline water you will notice a small taste. But for me it went away quickly. I feel better using alkaline water and I was buying bottled alkaline water. But it makes better sense to me to use glass drinking bottles and make my own alkaline water. Cut the cost alot. I like saving on water and not buying plastic bottles. Will use this company again. I purchased a large filter water dispenser from the company. I like the filtered large dispenser too. I will continue to buy from this company. Both water dispenser are easy to use and clean. Replacing the filters is very easy and come with instructions.

Terrific item, superlative customer service
I've been using two Waterdrop pitchers for quite some time now, and they continue to do exactly what they're supposed to. They're well-made, well designed, and look very stylish too (they have a modern, mid-century vibe). The filters are not cheap (good filters generally are not) but they work very well; and when you consider the cost saving over buying filtered water, they're really not that bad. I have two different sized pitchers, and the same filter fits both of them. They have a filter replacement indicator which is very useful. It doesn't sample the water, so as far as I can tell it's an inclinometer that basically monitors how many times you tilt the pitcher. This isn't a perfect solution, but it's pretty useful in terms of reminding you to change the filter at the correct time.I had an issue with the filter replacement indicators, and Waterdrop couldn't have been more helpful. All I really wanted was a couple of replacement indicators - they're a small unit with an LED light and they clip into the pitcher lid. As I'd owned the pitchers for a few years I didn't expect Waterdrop to replace the pitchers with new ones but that's exactly what they did, and they were happy to do so. Their customer support staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. It's easy for a company to be your best friend when everything is going well: the true measure of their worth is how they behave when something goes wrong, or breaks. Waterdrop showed me that they stand behind their products and truly value their customers. Wouldn't it be nice if much bigger corporations were to adopt a similar attitude (AT&T comes to mind, but there are countless others)! So my recommendation: if you're looking for a stylish, well-made filter pitcher with good filters and backed by incredibly good customer service, look no further. You've found it.
