The volume of the chimes is very good.

Purchased 3. Set them each to a different tune. After plugging in, they all played the same tune.

... normally a great thing -especially for the price!! My 5-year-old sensor went out recently (biggest failure seems to be UV damage of membrane covering sensor) so I purchased replacements on Amazon.... So far cannot get either new sensor to sync/pair with the original receiver. ... Waiting to hear from customer support.
